Tonight, at least, Boswell>>>>>>>Ramey
1-8 FGs and 0-2 FTs
Coupled with some Matador defense and a lazy layup which cost us a bucket

Washington is a very good defensive rebounding team…

… really tough when you’re missing a lot of shots!!!

Ramey the worst fter on the team? He is playing like shit tonight. We need a go to guy in the backcourt. Thought that would be Pelle but not there.

Finally that's over. What an ugly game.

Whew, pulled it out.

We did NOT look like a top 10 team tonight. The Cats need to come our with their hair on fire at the beginning of games. There are very few gimmes in college basketball anymore. Very few teams are that dominant as we saw tonight

Cats going to see a lot more pressure zone now. Lloyd looked almost as confused as Miller did.

Need to wake up and play 40 minutes. Just because we're Arizona and playing in McKale, doesn't mean we just show up and win by 20. Lucky to win this ugly game. Play this way against better teams, and we won't win too many.

Just got home from the game. Two guys kept us in it, Pelle and Boswell. Pelle in particular was all heart at all times in all aspects. I guess if we’re going to win a lot of games, we’re going to have to win some when we stink.

I have to work at the hospital. When I got home the game was over. So I am posting now.

We got UWs "A" game. They played fantastic and the Cats were sporatic. There were times they weren't looking good.

Other than how good UW played I need to give shoutouts to a couple of UA players and one that had a bad game.

Larsson had a terrific game. His 3-point shooting showed up. He didn't even hit the rim on his made shots. The guy is a warrior. He always battles, and this was a game he made a difference. His heart was in the game and he made a difference. His best game of the season.

Kylan Boswell. What can I say. I love seeing him on the floor. He knows how to handle the ball and he is quickly gaining confidence in shooting. I believe he will be freshman of the year in the Pac when the season is over. He is learning so quickly. He should see the floor in crunch time.

What is with Ramey? He looked bad out there tonight and that is being polite. Our best 3-point shooter has a hard time hitting the rim. ??? I am curious if he was distracted, or just had a bad night. 5th year senior with tons of experience playing like that doesn't make sense.

I liked the fight of the Cats. I like the way they fight adversity. And I believe they can still become much better.

I think Boswell has the most upside of any freshman PG since Bibby. Boswell isn't on that level yet, but he's climbing, and very quickly. And while Kerr is a very good PG and the heart of the team, when Kerr and Boswell are on the floor together, Kerr happily slides to the SG position without a complaint.

But I it would also be nice to get Ramey back on track. He played poorly on both sides of the ball. So did Bal. We're going to need one, if not both playing well if we're going to make a deep run in March.

I'm so glad I fell asleep and missed watching the game. But a W is a W no matter how ugly.

As CTL says it provides areas for improvement - so rather have bumps now then in March.
