Teams have figured out to over play on Love and take him out of his rhythm. Thanks to that USC loss

Boz is less consistent than Love offensively, though. We gotta have Love getting around 20 from here on out.

It's the risk we took with Love. He wasn't always a high FG% shooter at UNC.

Yep. And like I've been saying for years, the hot shooting is going to come our way one of these years. We have guys who can shoot. But those same guys also occasionally go 1-9.

My point was Tommy teams don't lose back to back games. But yeah, we should still be a 2.

Our unforced turnovers are killing us - did they hit some tough shots? Absolutely, but we gave up a lot of chances for us to put points on board

Not having a PG who could get the ball into Ballo the entire second half is a whole nother problem

Went about like I thought it would. Oregon was the better team. This team is one and done just like I've been saying all along. At least we don't have to suffer losing to Washington State again. Grand Canyon will go further in the tournament than Arizona will. What a joke.

The thing is: EVERYONE hits tough shots in the NCAA tournament. You have to expect that you're going to run into the hottest shooting you've seen all year because that's just what effing happens. And you have to counter that hot shooting by hitting a high percentage of shots. Had we made more FTs and had Caleb been anywhere close to his averages, we probably beat Oregon today.

But all it takes is one poor half. There's no margin for error in the tournament.

As ugly a half as I have seen in the Lloyd era. I thought he and our staff really got out coached tonight. Of course Oregon was playing for their tournament lives and threw the kitchen sink at us.

New season starts next week and right now that’s all that matters

I hope Washington State wins the Pac 12 tournament. In my opinion they're the best team in the conference. Beat us easily twice and have a better coach. Floyd really needs to prepare his team better and earn that money he's being paid. He should watch the WSU game tonight and take notes. He could learn a thing or two from Kyle Smith.

Yea, I’m not saying their hot shooting is why we lost

It’s our consistent turnovers and inability to execute our offense, those are the bigger systemic issues imo as a team with good or really good defense can expose those flaws
