Bluiett was literally perfect.

We played the whole half without Allen.

Couldn't hit from the perimeter at all.

Showed some poor execution against the zone.

But it's all about surviving a half like that and positioning yourself for the second half.

I expect them to try to get Lauri open for some 3s to try to break this zone a bit. Trier really needs to quit the bricks. I think Kadeem going out with foul trouble plus Alkins finger (I do think it's hurting his shooting) were factors. Happy to be up 2 considering they seem to have the best player on the planet and we shot about 15 percent.

Currently we have a much better assist to made-shot ratio than Xavier; we have no one with 3 fouls; we have 9 more shots on goal than they do (with a % of 39% [for fuck's sake]) because with our height advantage we're out boarding them. And with all that shitty perimeter shooting we're still ahead. It doesn't feel like it's warranted, but we're doing well considering how poorly we're doing.
