I scored as many points as TJ tonight. It's time to bench him.

Play of the Game:

York's 3 pointer at about the 2 minute mark of the 2nd half.

Not the shot itself - that was a wide open 'gimmee' (as 'gimmee' as they get anyway).

What led up to it was absolutely terrific. I failed to record the game so I can't give an accurate blow by blow, but it went something like this:

Michigan defense broke up the Arizona play and there was a scramble for the ball on the left side of the Arizona basket. About 3 guys touched it before Ashley (I think) got enough control to push it to York. York dodged and ducked his way past at least 3 guys on the baseline trying to foul him with no success. Then just before falling out of bounds he managed to lob it over the head of Ervin (I think) and get it to McConnell on the right sideline. McConnell started going left to the top of the key, but before his second step hit the ground he threw it over his shoulder back to York who had recovered and now stood all by himself in the corner with nobody within 15 feet of him - and nobody even looking at him.

That was an absolute beauty to me. I really wish I had recorded that so I could watch it over and over again to see exactly what everyone else was doing - what ever it was it was amazing how everyone just got sucked over to the left side on what appeared to be a completely broken play and a desperate attempt to recover control.

ESPN3.com has the replay up for anyone who wants to rewatch. Since I went to the game I'm looking forward to watching and hearing BIlas' comments.
