That game made me dry heave the entire night. Zone defense all night long, SC holding the ball for the full 30 and then throwing up a 3 that more often than not had no business going in and yet it does. Hate schools that do that crap, it sets back the game of basketball 40 years.

Arizona will play Butler at approximately 8:30 PM MT on Friday in the Las Vegas Invitational Championship Game. It will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1

Personally, it makes me happy. I'd much rather the Cats face teams that zone and dribble the air out of the ball this early in the season so that when we come down the stretch and go into the tourney no one's brain all of a sudden turns to mush because the opponent breaks out the 2-3. This team should have seen it all and seen how to win against all comers by the time conference play rolls around, and we'll have games like last night to thank for that.

Just finished watching this morning. It felt like we shoukd have been up by a lot more the entire game then we actually were. I thought we looked much more comfortable against the zone. As Chicat mentioned, I, too, am glad we are facing zones and very happy SC played zone the entire game. Defensively we weren't bad but definitely not great.

Kadeem Allen did a lot of things he won't get any attention for.

Just enough time for the football game to be over, and not interfere with watching BBall
