Commanding effort after the shit start on defense. Would have killed them without the game-long boneheaded shot selection, but that's endemic to college basketball this season, so I'll take it.

These slow starts don't surpiseme or bother me...3 freshmen playing against a new team each week, different assignments, it takes about 10 minutes to get settled in to what they are supposed to do,its games that start fast where they are running but completely forget what they are supposed to do that we should worry about...a big lead means nothing if you forget your defensive assignment or wait until the last 5 minutes to do it.
