I think it's too soon to say that. Pac 12 play will determine that.scumdevils86 wrote:Likely yesCBCat wrote:does this wreck our number one seed out west?
Way too early to know.CBCat wrote:does this wreck our number one seed out west?
Potentially. Our SOS isn't that great this yearCBCat wrote:does this wreck our number one seed out west?

Nothing good about that. Nothing.77HoyaCat4Ever wrote:We played like shit and lost to a team that ASU beat.
Good wake up call for a team that underperformed.
I thought I saw that. Not that we deserved to win, but still would've been nice to call that.77HoyaCat4Ever wrote:Yes - UNLV player hit net when ball in cylinderZona_Soccer10 wrote:Wasn't there basket interference there?
He's had a lot of charges called on him so he was gun shy there. But still never should have done anything but dunk it there. He messed up twice end of game.Main Event wrote:Man, I can't believe he missed that layup

UNLV has forced this team to play out of sync at least two years in a row. Only good thing about it is that the Rebels will probably wake up from this and make the tournament now.
Do yourself a favor and jump off the cliff?ASUHATER! wrote:Terrible omen for things to come. With teams like Stanford, Utah and uw surging it will be nearly impossible to win the Pac 12. Rpi anchor loss that kills any 1 seed chance.
That's a bit of an overreaction.az91 wrote:I think expectations are going to be greatly tempered. We will be lucky to win the PAC-12.
I have never understood our Offense and still don't get it.Merkin wrote:UA scores 5 points in the last 5:32.

I doubt it. They spent all they had on us and they'll go on to suck the rest of the year, like always. Fuck UNLV.catgrad97 wrote:It ends our non-conference winning streak, as I predicted weeks ago.

not at all. My expectations have immediately dipped from final 4 to "just make the tournament and sweet 16" mode.AZCatGirl wrote:That's a bit of an overreaction.az91 wrote:I think expectations are going to be greatly tempered. We will be lucky to win the PAC-12.
Jesus, no. We're still the clear favorite.az91 wrote:I think expectations are going to be greatly tempered. We will be lucky to win the PAC-12.
Yeah welcome to our world but no excuse this offense and missing all these free throws. I'd argue unlv's throws kept them in this game and then they took the lead.azpatnca wrote:I doubt it. If they could actually be as good against anyone -- fucking ANYONE else -- as they are against us....
fuck them. I hate them.
I'd expect nothing less from you. You should become an asu fan. oh and leave too. Your horrible.ASUHATER! wrote:not at all. Thats actually one part of his game he needs to adjust......he never goes all the way to the bucket. He likes to avoid the contact and lay it up or shoot the bunnie. He needs to go all the way to the hole and get contact and draw the foul. If he had not terminated his dribble and gone all the way to the hole there is no way he's going to get called for an offensive foul.........99% of the time the defender gets called in that situation.CBCat wrote:He's had a lot of charges called on him so he was gun shy there. based on one game? one poor night? it happens. Yeah it sucks to lose to a team we really should have beat....but I kind of thought this would be one of the tougher games on the schedule.ASUHATER! wrote:not at all. Maybe, but the conference is going to be tough. Utah and UW have the talent and coaching to win the conference.billk78 wrote:based on one game? one poor night? it happens. People saying we have no shot at the pac 12 title now are really overreacting big time. This team still has a few months to get it together. We are talking about a non-conference game on the road and people are acting like we just lost in the first round of the tournament.

This does not look like a Final Four team. The offense just isn't there, and the returning players do not look improved from last year.NETSFAN4HASSAN wrote:Now this is absurd. This is a bad loss, but this team had better make the Final Four.
Take a deep breath and get some sleep..........1 loss does not end our chances of a 1 seed. Hell, we could lose two more (Say Utah and UDUB on the road), finish 27-3, win the PAC12 tournament and still get a 1 seed........2 seed at the worst. Hell, we finished last season with 3 losses, lost in the PAC12 tournament and were STILL a #1 seed with 4 losses.ASUHATER! wrote:not at all. College basketball is tough. The pac is tough. Thats good for us. I see threads and posts about our poor SOS....but if the Pac is so strong won't that help our SOS? Let's just all relax and enjoy the holidays. We'll see what happens in conference play.az91 wrote:Maybe, but the conference is going to be tough.
