Well here we go. 3rd time vs. SDSU in just over a year. I think this is actually their bast chance to beat us out of those three meetings.

P.s. this game is on way too late. The Maui Invitational championship game should get a better time slot. F You ESPN.

That is gonna hurt tonight.

SDSU had 5 bench players with 12 or more minutes vs. Pitt.

RHJ was the only bench player with more than 7.

The Aztecs are playing very well right now. UA will be fortunate if they can squeak out a win tonight.

For east coasters maybe, but its 830 Tucson time and only 530 Hawaii time.

Worried as well but we can hang with the best of them.

Vegas says -4.5/125. Opened at -5.5

Got a weird feeling this one will be the reverse result of Diamond Head two years ago. SDSU has the athletes to do it, too.

Can't afford another double-digit early hole like we had in the NCAAs or the Aztecs won't let it get that close again, though. Would be nice for Kaleb to assert early.

Seems like the perfect time for Arizona to have it's best game of the year.

I'm surprised the line is that big. I think it's going to come down to the last possession of the game.

From Chol's comments, it seems like he was not too happy about Miller not giving him more playing time.

San Diego State has a deep team. I hope the result isn't like the PAC-12 tournament final last season.

Based on the on court results and production so far and simply the eye test, sdsu should be a 5-10 point favorite in this one.

Based on the court results and lack of 2 critical non-calls, BYU should be playing us in this one.

Jeff Sagarin has SDS as the favorite by one point over Arizona. He may, or may not, be correct tonight but historically I have found that he does better than the official Las Vegas line in predicting CBB results.

Chol has averaged 16.4 mpg and 3.0 pfpg as a redshirt junior. Even in SDSU's blowout wins he rarely saw more than 15 minutes of action. His game still hasn't improved enough to crack the starting lineup. Maybe he just isn't that good of a basketball player.
I agree. Chol does seem to be bitter about his experience at U of A.

Obviously there is a reason for that, Vegas wants to keep the money even bets on both sides, while Sagarin has no such agenda.

My question, who should Chol have played ahead of? Jarrett, Ashley or Tarc? Certainly not Gordon, or Solomon or RHJ. Kid can block shotsbut he is late on rotations and he doesn't seem like he is stronger.

Maybe he will surprise tonight but I think he gets marginal numbers

When are people going to realize the transitive property doesn't fucking work in these cases. Teams get all amped up looking for a big win that can carry them into the tourney then look like ass vs the other team. You would think everyone would have learned through the years with all the times it has happened on Pac 12 road trips with ASU.
