I prefer MacLean more as an announcer than player. Very knowledgeable about the game and fair to the UA, although I really doubt he knows where the world's largest fungi is.

I also like McLean as an announcer, but did NOT as a player. He may may not know his fungi, but remembers every one of the record points he scored, or so it seems. Good for him. If one achieves something, there is no shame in being proud of it. He seems more humble about it than I would be in that situation.Merkin wrote:I prefer MacLean more as an announcer than player. I also like him with Yam, Hurd and KO in Pac-12 Sports Report.

Did the line seriously open at -1.5 USC? Its now -1.5 to -2.5 AZ.
Re: Game 16, at USC (2015-2016)
Up big on Washington on the road, yet end up losing in the last few seconds.
Have a comfortable lead against ASU at home, but almost lose that game.
Tell the media they're not worried about playing the best team in the conference.
What a stupid, undisciplined team. They're really letting their good start to the season go to their head. Let's blow these morons out.

I really hope if the Arcadia Tavern closes or burns down accidentally some day that Machina doesn't take his own life.

So sick of our games getting tied up on the Pac12 Net. Oh well, NFL playoffs.

I agree wholeheartedly... As a player, he was on my all-time most-hated Bruins list along with Reggie Miller, Trevor Wilson, Toby Bailey, and Sean Farnham.DiehardDave37 wrote:I also like McLean as an announcer, but did NOT as a player. As an announcer I think he is excellent. He is proud of his accomplishments, but at the same time pretty self-deprecating and funny.
Talks a bit too much, but knowledgable, does his homework, and very sincerely respectful of the Arizona program.
Re: Game 16, at USC (2015-2016)
Preventing guard penetration by SC will be the key defensively. I'm not liking the vision I'm having of Jacobs/Mcglaughlin attacking PJC when he comes off the bench. I would like to see Miller consider using Gabe as the backup PG with PJC's minutes going to Simon (as a 2G or SF) for this game. There will be certain games where PJC will just not match up well...........and this is one of them.
If we do a reasonable job preventing the easy penetration buckets we should get the W.

The Arcadia Tavern has a reputation for good food. And the Arcadia neighborhood is one of the better neighborhoods in Phoenix. I might visit the tavern one time just to see it. I am drinking again, although not much into the bar scene.scumdevils86 wrote:I really hope if the Arcadia Tavern closes or burns down accidentally some day that Machina doesn't take his own life.

Nice to see Trier hit one early.

I like Anderson for his rebounding, but I am not impressed with his passing, shooting, and how he protects the ball.
A good first 4 minutes for the Cats, could be better.

He is only credited with one TO, but he has 2, on those bounce passes that ended up out of bounds.Catintheheat wrote:I like Anderson for his rebounding, but I am not impressed with his passing, shooting, and how he protects the ball.

But he is hustling out there trying to make things happen, so they weren't awful.
