Defensive intensity is high and making smu work for their buckets but smu is also getting offensive boards

What I see is the Cats can't play a complete game. They are good in some areas (intensity), but big weaknesses (rebounding). They also seemed lost on offense. They don't understand how to play as a team well enough. Too many iso plays. Dylan Smith being a good example. I think a lot of this is just immaturity from the freshmen, and they haven't gelled well enough. Also the freshman are not used to the high intensity of D1 high level basketball. They will get better as the season progresses, but so frustrating to watch now.

I don’t like Lee’s mistake prone freshman play but he and Pinder are the only Arizona players tough enough to match SMU.

A lot of times down the floor SMU was using a lot of the shot clock. So lesser possessions.

Arizona is defending well enough to make SMU use a ton of clock on each possession. Problem is we can’t rebound their misses in the late shot clock.
