This is potentially like the Baylor game. Colorado is a poor man’s Baylor, and Arizona is home, but if this year’s team has a special power, it’s making poorer opponents rich and taking themselves out of the game with sleepy defense, lackluster rebounding, poor shot selection, a point guard who forces things, and generally gets themselves bent.

I think Arizona could get blown out, or makes the score closer and the loss more respectable with a surge too late in regulation.

On the other hand, if Arizona does what Miller asks of them (which falls on Miller at this point), and which they can and should do, Arizona wins an anus-clencher, unless they blow it at the free throw line.

Big big game. Need the win and sending home Tad crying would be so much fun

Trying to think how Colorado might be today...quick turn-around game, early start on the road in one of the most hostile environments in the PAC...hopefully they come in foggy and leave early...

As for the cats...its going to be a bully fest in the paint...Colorado is older and pretty strong and tend to dominate the pain-t

If Jeter plays he will get abused like a catholic choir boy...Zeke will hold his own, Stone is a bit slower and Ira will get fouls.

Probably going to come down to guard play...as Dylan Smith goes, so goes this game...if he weaves into the paint again and can make an impact there he opens up the floor for Green/Nico/Baker/Hazzard...

We HAVE to keep the rebounds close or do better than them...if we do that we win, if we don't we get abused and Tad "Boil-on-the-ass" gets his trash talking points...hate that guy.

Id say this is must win. Our guys play much better at home so i think they get it done.

Dylan Smith’s offense is a major key to the game, since he’ll be out there all game long for his defense. It actually isn’t true that he shouldn’t put the ball on the floor. When he reads the defense right, his drives are necessary in a game like this, and taking the ball to the hole opens space for him to catch and shoot.

If he doesn’t do well, it will at least give us a nice preview of the tourney game we’ll lose.

The lightning in a bottle that gets us out of such heavy dependence on Smith is better team defense and Gettings grabbing rebounds. That way Nico gets an open floor with Hazzard on the perimeter. TucsonClip made me see that.

Haven't been able to catch a single AZ game this season. Too busy with work, holidays, no cable tv, to lazy to hit the sports bar, can't fit it around watching football too. That changes today. Meeting up with an alumni group and watching from start to finish. Go Cats!

This is certainly a must win. A loss pretty much proves we can't beat teams in the top 25.

Just not feeling it with this game. Colorado is an awkward matchup for us. To be honest I think we could get blown out but luckily it's a home game. 72-69 Colorado. Rebounding and turnovers; we do too much of one and not enough of the other.

This is a game against a more fringe top 25 team (as opposed to a clear top 10 type team) at home and after a good performance. If you can’t feel good about that...

And all decent teams create some match up problems. But we’re a 6 point favorite and need to get this done.
