My wife and I started watching the 1997 games last week. I am reminded how much luck is needed to win. It seemed like every bounce went Arizona's way during that incredible run. It still brings me joy.

When I was a senior at the U, I lived in the back of Yavapai Hall and had just finished an all-nighter working on my thesis for my Bachelor's degree.

I woke up, ashamed, just as Edgerson was taking the free throws right before halftime with my TV on in the room. My roommate, an engineering senior, had turned it on and I had completely slept through it up until then.

So it is fitting that I rejoin this thread at the same point. Go Cats!

Any online KY d-bag fan who even suggests that their team would have won this game if the injured Derek Anderson had played, call them a homer @$$hole and shut them up really quickly.

Because NOBODY was stopping Arizona in this tournament. The defense, the quickness could just not be matched.
