The worst part of that that sleepy, sloppy game will be having to hear ASUHATER post about how TCU/Seton Hall are going to kill us on Sunday.

We had more TOs than they had D boards.

The Cats need to start working on their mid-range jumpers. If they won’t play the mid-range game they are much easier to defend.

Glad we won. Played well in spurts but overall Wright State was just overmatched. That wont happen Sunday. Lots to talk about and work on. Kier was not very good this game and Pelle still has questionable decision making.

Just seemed so many unforced TOs in the 1st half kept it from being a 20+ point lead at the half. Seemed to give Wright St confidence into the 2nd half for a while. And luckily the Cats went on a run because once they did, they seemed to get sloppy again.

Did anyone else think the team played tight today? It didn’t look like they played with the joy that they typically show on the court. Maybe it was nerves from playing in their first tourney game. Hopefully, it’s out of their systems and their ready to ball out on Sunday. BTFD!

On the post game Kenny Smith was making the point that most of the TOs were when we were up by a lot and got lazy.

I know the TO’s were bad but the way we play, with all of the assists, it comes with the territory.

But 20 is a bit too much. Just get it down to 12-13.

Legit scare me. I’ve been in a miserable mood ever since they came back against the Mocs. Part of it is tournament ghosts, part of it is a family connection to the Illini who is obnoxious as hell whenever we play them, and part is that I worry about their guards ability to go off from deep and Kofi’s ability to neutralize our bigs. I REALLY hope that I’m wrong and/or that Houston knocks them off before we have to face them. Unfortunately, sports gods hate me like they caught me sleeping with their sister and mom at the same time.

We held Peter Kiss to 0-0 from the field!

Avery Johnson said Cats will get better going forward. (paraphrase) If tonight was their worse game, then he's
right. I'm guessing you are too.

The Pac 12 really stunk it up in the first round. All three teams looked awful and quite frankly all three games were hard to watch. USC played like they really didn't even want to be there, and still almost won. We let Wright State hang around but we dashed their hopes each time they made a run and that's encouraging. Normally Arizona is a very aesthetically pleasing team but consider it was their first NCAA tournament game and I would expect them to play a little tight. i think they'll play more relaxed and even more focused tomorrow. Just proud of the team and CTL on what continues to be a phenomenal year.
