There’s a lot more draft eligible players than I thought. No wonder Coach Johnson said what he said about being hard to say goodbye. Not all of them will leave, but holy cow.

I’m gonna need to see Nic McClaughry’s Birth certificate before I believe he’s 21. He looks 16 to me.

Lots of holes to be filled. Several of those players would benefit from coming back and having a full time role even though they would lose their leverage being Sr's. The offense will be much less and Berry and Susac might not have the protection they benefited by this past year. As long as JJ stays I am sure we will be very competitive and could be back in the tournament

I’d like to see Kobe Kato and Nic stay for sure. Tanner O’Tremba would be awesome as well.

Just because they’re eligible doesn’t mean they will go. And hopefully they’re happy enough they don’t feel the need to jump in the portal.

We just need some arms. And an extension on the coach’s contract.

I don't follow Arizona baseball that closely, but we gave up 36 runs over our last four games so was he doing that much? Obviously I am simplifying things over a short sample size, but it's not like our pitching was great and it was repeatedly brought up as a huge weakness. I must be missing something.

Well he improved our team ERA from over 6 to the low 4’s. Walks were cut dramatically and K’s were up 33%.

We also signed a number of promising freshman (who didn’t pitch last year because of COVID) who we wouldn’t have got without Yesky.

His resume with the pitchers at Oregon St is very impressive over his 11 years there

Going into 2019, team ERA was 6+. After working with mostly the same pitchers from his hire date to now, team ERA was dropped to 4ish. Huge, huge improvement.

Our biggest problem the last four games or so was the 2 pitchers sitting at home.
