Exactly, we beat ourselves for sure tonight which is really unfortunate and could come back to haunt us if we don't take Game 3. Bummer.....Bear Down.

Let's hope their ace is nervous tomorrow because his stats this year are very impressive.

Bases loaded with one out twice, and we got three runs out of it. Not a great way to win a game against a good team. I don't know if the first inning was poor execution by the players or a bad call by the manager, but that cost the game.

We just overthought every thing in this game. From messing with the batting order, to starting Behnke who hasn't started all postseason, and of course the ridiculousness that was the 1st inning. We beat ourselves. Now our guys will have to solve the puzzle that is their ace and his wacky delivery.

You know, I totally understand the Cinderella/Underdog label for Coastal Carolina. It is inevitable. But to me, it truly is IN NAME RECOGNITION and conference alone. You don't win 54 games or more on a fluke. They played some tough competition during the season on the road, OOC. And let's not forget that when the 8 teams reached Omaha at the CWS, CCU was 8-1 odds to win. WE were 12-1. I totally get we are ARIZONA and out of the PAC 12, and we have 4 titles and 17 appearances. And I get that CCU is on No. 1. But as far as the season performance goes, and for playing the games aside from that, we are the true underdog of this CWS. Only UCSB had lesser odds to win it all.

Coastal has an RPI of 12, AZ is at 21...feels like the shockers game all over again. Ah well, life aint easy, just do it.

Maybe Beckwith's arm is not 100% healthy. He did throw like 139 pitches last Friday. Can't think of any other reason why he would not start.

Honestly, not sure who else to put there. JJ hasn't looked good. Oliva has had some good hacks but is struggling with off speed. Aside from that, idk.

Okay, i was trying not to let this shit bug me, but this is becoming a complete suckfest for Coastal Carolina by ESPN. It's like we are lucky to be here?

They started out saying Coastal has knocked out 3 national seeds, then correct themselves by remembering that it was only 2 and they are including f'ing Texas Tech as one of the two?

Arizona won 3 games in 24 hours at ULL. Epic. Then we go to Starkville and SWEEP them. The announcer's analysis of that? "..Arizona survived in Starkville.." SURVIVED? WE FUCKING DESTROYED THEM, BURNED THEIR STADIUM TO THE GROUND, TOOK THEIR WOMEN AND GOT ON A BUS AND KEPT GOING TO OMAHA.

And then we end up with Oklahoma State, who other than Arizona was killing Omaha with their pitching and fielding. And we beat them 2 out of 3.

Up until yesterday we haven't had a bad game at Omaha. Even our loss was incredible by Dalbec.


I've had it up to my ass with this ESPN lovefest for Coastal. I hope we make that idiot pay for not starting his ace. I hope his team, who were convinced they had their golden boy starting, is in the dug out openly questioning what their coach is thinking.

You start your ace, set the tone and ride him until he can't go no more. And hope you've scored enough runs to hold on. He is gambling big time.

In Arizona's case we have 4 starters that are quite capable. I hope we can get something out of Bannister if Dalbec falters, cause Ming showed signs of tiredness yesterday, after looking incredible all playoffs.

Let's take this one. Seems like the entire world is against Arizona again. Nothing new to see the announcers once again covering ONE side of the story when it involves Arizona. The wrong side.

Hell, Johnson taking this team to the CWS in his first year and possibly becoming the FIRST coach to win in his first year is the overwhelming huge story here. Not this g'damn upstart Carolina team who hasn't done shit ever.
