Well on June when the sun sets at 730 it will still be 90-100 even for the night games.

If it was a super and just 2 teams all those games would be at night I would assume. Just like a toro game. The regional (4 teams), yea those day games would be brutal

I went to all the games in 2012 (both weekends), and I believe that super was Fri-Sat-Sat (although we didn't need game 3). It was 105 ish both days. They had multiple "aid" stations, with the big water jugs and sunscreen dispensers (I'd never seen those before, like condiment dispensers). They at least tried to help out as best they could. It would be much better to schedule Fri-Sat-Sun, all at night, but after the weather delay epidemic last year, I think they will continue to try to schedule games earlier in the day. It definitely sucks though. The regional round will also be heavy with day games and low on flexibility.

I think we can all agree that we would rather suffer through that for a CWS berth than watching us lose on ESPN3 though.

Cloney, Ming, Gomez and Mike Flynn have pitched 63 2/3 innings and only given up 5 runs. That is outstanding. Couple that with our hitting and this team, if it can find one more arm could be really special.

I think Austin Schnabel gets the start tonight. It's a hitters park and with all this guys other than Ming not available you would have to think this one might be higher scoring than normal. Both teams are in the top 10

Game time is 5:30 AZ time and can be seen on Fox Sports Plus

Yeah that was embarrassing. Tech is a great team, but this was their mid week pitcher and we couldn't even compete.

Not really. I think w have firmed up our top 3 guys and it is clear we are still searching for more reliability from our staff. Lat year we hand Ginkel who would itch those id week games and some in long relief and right now we just don't have that guy.

Bats have been a little quiet in the last 2 games but i think our offense will be be of the better ones. If we sweep this weekend like I think we will we will be 13-2 and I am not sure anyone would have hoped for more than that. Conference starts in a couple weeks and I would n't mind JJ using his top 3 for 5 innings only and continuing to experiment with his other arms, even if it means we drop one we shouldn't prior to conference
