4-2 Cats, Top 6. 9 strikeouts, but OrSt walked the bases loaded, a base hit and sac fly got us 3. We'll see what the OrSt bullpen has now. The starting pitcher was certainly hittable.

Beavers tie it up 4-4 now. Bottom 6th.

Berrys HR in the 8th cleared the bleachers in right field. It was crushed. We have the two best freshman position players in the country I think

And a great bat flip.

Love how patient our batters were against a very good pitching staff last night. Their starter had a killer change-up.
7 out of our 11 walks led to runs. Good timely hitting as well.

We have a good record on Sat games (haven't lost a Sat game in league I believe) but I expect a close, low scoring game tonight.

I don’t like the early feel of this game. Lost a pop up
In the sun that led to a run and now Irvin is struggling.

They’re also not being their usual patient selves at the plate. Lots of one pitch or two pitch outs. That’s odd.

OSU's center field cam drives me fucking crazy, every time there's a runner at 2nd, they block out the pitches. Raise it up like every other ballpark on the planet

That ball OBVIOUSLY bounced off the netting, you can see the whole fucking net move from top to bottom

Good on Jay just saying "fucking bullshit" over and over

It touched the net.
It touched the net.

Robbins is probably going to hire the third base coach from Fall River Little League after all of JJ’s swearing.

Great comeback win for the Cats. Down 5-1 in the 7th they score 4 to tie and 1 in the top of the ninth.

Big time cajones to now be in good position to win the PAC.

Stanford and Oregon are tied in the 11th. If Stanford wins I think we win the conference.

Side note: Brian Jeffries is really good at basketball and football, but I’ve always loved listening to him do baseball the most. The way he called that last strike was awesome.

Stanford up 8-5, top 12. A win by the Tree gives us the automatic birth and no worse than co-champ. Go Stanford!

Gritty comeback by true champions. When you are down 4 runs in the 8th you make something happen if you are a champion and we did.

Well earned and now we should get 40 regular season wins and host both regionals. You can see Omaha from Tucson as it’s coming into focus

Top 8 in all the polls. D-1 baseball has our regional as us, Florida St, UC Santa Barbara and GCU.

By the looks of there projections with us as a 4 seed, we looked to have the toughest regional IMO. UCSB was ranked most of the year and beat some good teams. GCU has a number of wins over PAC schools with its Friday night guy so they could stretch us if Silseth isn’t on

That would be a very tough bracket. Hopefully, they are wrong.

Then again if you look across the landscape of D1 baseball there are a lot of good teams so any slippage will cost us no matter who is in our bracket.

If we get strong pitching like in recent weeks we will be a tough out. I like Silseth because he's such a gamer but I'm also impressed with Irvin. I think he has better stuff.

While the D1 Baseball would be a tough bracket, you know it has to be wrong. They have us placed up against the Ole Miss Bracket, and you know the committee will put us up against Stanford or Oregon's bracket. Can't have too many PAC teams in Omaha.

If we can get Price back and then we would have Price, Vanelle and the lefty Luna(sub1.00 ERA)out of the pen.

Murphy to me looks like a very capable third starter and we still could throw Nichols there and have a guy like Flanagan n long relief or as a #5 starter. Things on the bump seem to be shaping up nicely.

That's our Cats. They can absolutely pound anybody in the country but they're also capable of laying an egg with the best of them. Luckily they don't lay many eggs though.
