Anyone think we have a slight advantage with playing consecutive days in the middle of the day? Not sure what weather is like around OSU but surely it's not quite like being in the Tucson heat/sun.

LMFAO, thanks for the link 84Cat.....love reading them cry about our post-season success. Also I love this underdog, no pressure, 'playing with house money' position this year (exact opposite to hoops).
I am impressed with the high volume of activity on the board there though....especially considering they didn't even make it.

As I said previously and for what ever reason, every so couple of years the stars align and uofa somehow comes out of nowhere and plays out their minds. Let's be honest there isn't anyone out there including any Uofa fan that would predict and put money down that their team would be doing this right now. How and why this takes place, it is inexplainable. How many times has ASU had loaded baseball teams nationally ranked top seeds and get knocked out by good competition or not so good competition and you scratch your head wondering what if?
Uofa does this with teams that are not nationally ranked, not a national seed, and barely sneak in the tournament. it's like somehow they drink red and blue Kool-Aid and they become the Incredible Hulk's of college baseball.

Thanks for that update. Hearing "forearm" instead of elbow or shoulder is a lot more reassuring. I was cautiously optimistic when they kept showing him in the dugout with no ice or anything else on his arm. Hopefully it was just precautionary (and props to Salazar or JJ or whoever noticed it first). Bear Down Nathan.

If you can venture a short distance from PPM, the Yardhouse is about a 5 minute walk. We watched a Spurs/Heat finals game there a couple of years ago.

Solid first inning at the plate. No bad AB's. Took their ace to 25 pitches. Couldn't start much better. This dudes been dominating the other teams. 25 2/3 scoreless inning coming into today.

His off speed stuff has been devastating to the Okies. It sets up his FB, which is coming in at 92-93.

Dalbec is very confident and IS locked in. Interesting to see how far he can go. His pitch count is good so far. I wouldn't use Ming today. Ming really needs to rest his arm.
My biggest problem with Johnson is he tends to overuse his pitchers.

Two bad pitches, but I think he looks way more comfortable than on Monday. All 3 of his pitches have been working so far, whereas he was a bit touch and go last time. Looks at ease today.
