Unbelievable. Francona is a great wildcat, not because of this gift but just the fact he is always all in on the Cats. Love to see him at the basketball games. I would imagine he speaks to JJ and the players and that is a big plus for us.

I understand they are going to upgrade the hitting facility, is that correct? Have to think it will be state of the art

Yeah it's in the article I linked. Terry's gift is for a brand new indoor hitting facility located where the current batting cages are at. They're still making improvements from the prior $1 million gift after the season ended, which are an installation of a new backstop, the replacement of seating in certain sections behind home plate, and a renovation to the home clubhouse, which is expected to commence following the 2017 season.
