Bear Down Wildcats

I thought it would be nice if we posted video from the history of the baseball program. I will start it with highlights from the 1986 World Series. Coming all the way back in their first game against Maine when Dave Shermet won it with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 9th got things rolling. That '86 team is one of my favorites and my favorite players were Mike Senne and Tommy Hinzo. Beating Florida State and Richie Lewis was a perfect way to go out and Hinzo stealing home was icing on the cake. Kindall had to replace some good players from the '85 team that reached the college World Series and he brought in some really good JC players, including Heredia who has the task to replace the departed Joe Magraine.

Loved that '86 team - my senior year. One of my favorite Wildcat memories.

Love AZ baseball. High school for the 76 ship and at the UofA for the 80 championship.

Loved it when we won 3 in 10 years and how great would it have been if we had won it all last year.

As I type this I have on my baseball Jersey and pinstripe hat LOL
