Guy gets to retire on top. I wonder if there's health issues involved as the timing to announce a retirement seems a bit off. Casey is certainly proof that an elite coach can build a champion anywhere. If you can win 3 titles in Corvallis in baseball you are one hell of a coach.

He's been considering retiring for a few years now, and they've been planning on having 1 of those 2 assistants take over. Of course there might be issues but I wouldn't necessarily read too much into it. He's only 59, although you can tell coaching has aged him.ChooChooCat wrote:Guy gets to retire on top.
