2021 Season Thread

I expect all the seniors will be coming back except Malia.

I know many teams will be loaded now that the seniors are allowed to come back, but the Cats are going to have so much talent. They also have one of the top recruiting classes in the nation coming in. Looking forward to see how Candrea will use Carlie Scupin.

I'm sure there will be some players leaving due to a lack of playing time, while others will red-shirt, but nothing short of getting to the World Series will be considered a successful year.

Can't wait for next year.

Why is Malia not coming back? When was that announced?

Malia hasn't announced anything. She had grad school lined up at NAU, that's her one issue. As far as I know she hasn't decided one way or another. I'd honestly be surprised if she didn't return.

On another note Carli Campbell announced she is transferring.

Why is Malia not coming back? When was that announced?

It has not been announced, it's just my guess on what I have heard. Hope I am wrong as it would make this team even more potent.

With the seniors being allowed to come back, there are going to be many schools taking advantage of players transferring. Should make for an exciting year as there will be more schools that will be more competitive.

The Bruins also get back Bubba Nickles. The Cats, UCLA and Washington are loaded. Harper should break the all-time home run record. No way teams will be able to pitch around her with that line-up.

Does anyone know if I can stream Pac 12 network softball broadcasts if I have Hulu or Sling? Other channels? Other UA sports (like basketball and football)? I ditched Dish TV. I could also get a username/password for ATT tv if necessary. Thanks.

Sling has all the PAC-12 channels if you get add the sports package.

I haven't seen a full schedule yet but we open against Texas and Alabama in Austin Feb 12-14.

11 games in a row on the road at one point. 4 game sets vs conference opponents where the 2nd game of the Saturday doubleheaders are considered non-conference games. We play a bunch of ranked opponents and the only one that will be at home is vs UCLA.

The only thing I have seen is the Longhorned Network but I'm not sure if we can watch that. I imagine that it will end up on one of the ESPN channels

It's opening day! Cats play #7 Texas at 5:00pm on the Longhorn network. All their games this week will be on the Longhorn network.
