I guess the stream is better than nothing, but does ESPN own the rights to the regionals? Couldn't the Pac 12 cover the games not picked up?

Great win by the girls. Saw a little of LSU and I think we have a shot this next weekend. I don't think either team will just quickly won 2. This seems like a full weekend matchup

It was very frustrating watching those two games on the internet Pac 12 feed for me. It froze a lot, the audio was horrible, including bigtime technical difficulties in the second game where they lost half the broadcast team and poor Kenzie F. was all alone. Clearly, as far as I can guess and assume, ESPN did not have any plans or personnel available to cover the Tucson Regional. I never even saw a single highlight from the Tucson regional. It simply had no coverage. I guess that isn't atypical of regional coverage, and admittedly, we aren't among top seeds. But I was a bit frustrated, nonetheless when I saw the Ragin' Cajuns/Bears game on two separate ESPN channels (ESPN2 and ESPNU at the same time as our game.

It wasn't just the online stream. I tried listening on the radio, and those audio difficulties were prevalent there as well.

espn3 would actually work better for me. Though their website shows the updated time, it states it's an espn news broadcast, which doesn't work for me :(

This from GB's Wildcat Wednesday:

Now, we’ll head to Baton Rouge, La. to play LSU in a best-of-three series on Saturday and Sunday for the right to go to the Women’s College World Series. While the first game on Saturday was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., due to a conflict in the area, it has been moved to Noon MST and will air on ESPNews or ESPN. The second game is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. MST (ESPN) with the third game, if necessary, at 5 p.m. MST (ESPN2).

I missed the first three runs, is it all not very good pitching? Pitcher strike zone the same? Is it getting squeezed?

Ump has a tight strike zone, but did it to the LSU pitcher too and Cats didn't take advantage.

This is no fun to watch. Would getting a new pitching coach help at all? I know the pitchers we have are okay, but are they developing? Oregon's head coach is an amazing pitcher in the men's game. Then some announcer said in the men's game successful pitchers just need a change up and rise to be effective.

The starting pitchers will be better next year with the addition of Taylor McQuillin and Danielle O'Toole. I would not be surprised to see one or two pitchers on this year's squad transfer.

Well, not really surprising to get hammered by LSU.

At least we got to host and win a regional.

It could be worse, getting beat by asu at home. Floyd will have to pitch great tomorrow to have a chance.

Taylor McQuillin and Danielle O'Toole. Taylor is one of the best pitchers in the contry and Danielle was San Diego State's ace her first two years there. The Aztecs would not release her from her scholarship last year so he had to sit out this year.

Here is an article about Taylor.
