Cats beat Southern Utah 10-1 to go 5-0 this season. Devyn Netz makes her Wildcat debut and gets the win. Palacios hit a grand slam. Surprising stat from this weekend, Harper did not hit a homer.

Is it me or are our Arizona teams outside of our traditional "big" programs (M-bball/M-FB) really kicking some ass? Softball, Women's bball, Men's golf, etc...

It does seem like quite a few of the non-revenue sports are getting back to, dare I say it, Cedric Dempsey levels.

But that would require giving Heeke some credit and I'm not sure I'm ready to go there yet. :D

Considering all these programs had coaches not hired by Heeke it doesn't really give him much credit at all.

Harper goes deep for the second day in a row and the Cats are up 10-3. Harper now has 78 career home runs.

What's the record for most run-rule games in a row? We've got to at least be close to a school record.

Great to see the bottom of the order come to through and 2 Freshman involved to earn the win.
Scupin is a star in the making.

Educate me please... when in extra innings, if the 'free' runner does not score, does it count in the left on base stats?

I believe it does. If that runner scores it does not count as an earned run for the pitcher though.

Denham is in a groove. Working her spots all over the plate. changing speeds. Over the past couple weeks she seems to control almost every at bat.

I believe Denham is the #1 pitcher while Lopez is #2 based on how both have pitched so far.

Yeah so far Denham has looked like the best pitcher on roster so far. Lopez has time to get it going though.

Was certainly the least of our concerns. Lopez not being able to find the zone whatsoever is a major issue. At this rate if Candrea doesn't trust to use Bowen or Netz then we may be in for A LOT of Denham. Let's hope she has A LOT of Mowatt in her if that's the case.

Mike went with Denham again today on short rest. She walked in a run in the 1st inning.

Terrible start to the FSU game. Harper is thrown out at home in the top of the first and the Noles have already scored 3 runs against Denham in the bottom of the first. FSU has two runners on and no outs and Denham has been taken out of the game for Bowen,
Btw, this game is on ACC + for anyone who gets it.
