There’s a rumor going around that Palacios and Meono are both entering the transfer portal.

What would be the source of dissatisfaction? Has NIL money drifted into softball at some schools?

I really wish Toven had not transferred to Baylor, she would of replaced Meono. Dakota Kennedy is a stud and will most likely be in the starting line-up next year.

This portal things sucks.

I’m being selfish and not considering the athletes at all. But I don’t know any of them so I only care about how it affects me.

My bad, for some reason I thought Toven would be playing the outfield since Lowe is sticking with Carrol, which I do not know why. I am looking forward to watching Dakota. She has power and is an exceptional defensive player. I like that she is a left-handed hitter, so Lowe could possibly go righty, lefty, righty, lefty or the other way around with the power hitters.

If Izzy plays some games at catcher, I would think Lowe would go with Biringer at third. Of course we will have to wait until the roster is finalized since I would assume they are looking at the transfer portal.

What's going on here? Are these transfers because of NIL deals or are these athletes dissatisfied with Lowe and company? Is the Tucson media providing any insight?

The destruction of the Pac has been such a big story that this has gotten lost in the shuffle in Tucson. Would also like to know what exactly happened here.

Doing a search to see if I can see what's going on. Can't find anything, but this didn't age well.

New transfer pitcher from Princeton.

I lived in Princeton N.J. for a short time after UofA. What an amazing little town. The university speaks for itself. Ali must have had a compelling reason to leave.

I honestly don't know.

It'd be nice if some press organization actually would do some actual work on this and look into the how and why.

I agree. I know the local media cares more about football right now, but this is bizarre as all hell and we want to know what happened.

I find it interesting that they're dominating the competition basically without the longball at all.

Silva making the start today. Even though Hardy gave up one run in two innings yesterday, I liked that she struck out 5 batters.

Only two of the six runs for FSU were earned. I liked how the Cats scratched back after being down 6-0. It looks like Lowe is going to be using Silva a lot, especially if she continues to pitch well.

Allie Skaggs needs to scrap her new batting stance, it has absolutely destroyed her batting. Cats going to get swept today.
