Its hard to say what I'm feeling right now. After a horrific year and the 70-7 beat down, these ladies have inspired me so very much.

Thank you so much Arizona women. What an incredible run. I'm so proud to be a Wildcat tonight. Let's finish it up ladies.

Not. Done. Yet.

ESPN owes Arizona basketball so much back karma, it might as well pre-emptively execute Jimmy Dykes and Dick Vitale in a public square tomorrow.

It feels like watching history being made in this run.

I don't know what's more exciting, this run or the feeling it's not luck but just the outcome of the process of the last few years. This isn't an accident, it's the culmination of a great coach, a tremendous group of players, a lot of work and one transcendent star.

Agreed. We might not be in the Final 4 again next year, but we'll still be deadly and playing for a Pac12 championship, and have another great run in March.

Not only next year, but for future years. I bet there will be many players in the transfer portal that will want to come here. Plus recruiting is going to another level after all this publicity. I really hope Zeke's sister commits to Adia, she is a top-10 recruit.

Really recommend people glance through this thread. Lots of very level headed and RESPECTFUL takes on the game.

Geno has always seemed very high class, kind of like the king knows where he is and doesn't need to remind everybody. He's good in the pressers, and so frequently you can catch him smiling (albeit in pain) when his opponents are playing well. Including a few times in the first half last night.

I encourage folks to watch the beginning of Geno’s presser.... gives all the credit to AZ and says his team has not played a more aggressive defensive team all year and they didn’t have an answer

I watched the whole thing from Geno and as usual, because I’ve met him a few times and seen a lot of his pressers here in CT, he tells it like it is. I especially liked how he admitted his team was immature - not just young - when things don’t go their way which I thought was spot on last night as they could not respond to the pressure.

Great presser for both Aari and Adia. Totally genuine; totally confident; totally humble; totally in control. Omni-competent women. WOW!

For those who think we'll be toast because of the 14-point loss to Stanford at Maples on Feb 22, here are my replies. We've improved and gotten on a roll. We have a chip on our shoulder and something to prove. It won't be a true road game. We won't have a Pac-12 officiating crew, and the refs in the tournament so far seem to believe in letting the teams play. So if nobody was willing to bow-down to UConn's reputation, I don't think it'll happen for Stanford outside the Pac-12. (Sorry, Larry.) If we're not put in handcuffs and saddled with foul trouble while the other team flops like Chevy Chase and is rewarded with cheap charity shots, we've got a reasonable chance.

I talked to Sam's dad at the game and he said she is 50-50, and they will talk about it when the season is over, but he thinks he knows what she is gonna do. I didn't ask what that was...I just complimented him on having such a mature daughter with a sweet stroke who has a complete game and often defers to others players.
