Adia building a powerhouse. That's two five stars in 2022 already and they do not have to worry about the OAD's.

oh hell yeah!
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:
Re: Recruiting 2022
Does Sean Miller get any credit with the Maya recruitment or is it all Adia?

Re: Recruiting 2022
I mean the Nnaji's had a great experience with Arizona, so of course that helped Adia. However when this recruitment started, Adia's program wasn't good enough to land a player of this quality even with the great relationships built at Arizona. Adia's program is now at the level where it's more than good enough to land a player of this stature and all the relationships and positive experiences at Arizona with Zeke put them over the rest of the competition. Credit Miller with an assist, but this is primarily all Adia's doing.

We are now a Women's Basketball School.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Maya's game looks a lot like big brothers on her highlights. So excited to see her suit up.

Re: Recruiting 2022
Teams can have 15 players, I do not know the full scholarship count but Sam, Cate, Bendu, Shaina and Smith are all Seniors this year, though other than Sam I am not sure if the others can have an extra year of eligibility due to Covid. Mix that in with a few transfers we have already seen, there is not doubt that we have room for additional players if they make sense.
Re: Recruiting 2022
Adia is building a true program. Sure it helped that Zeke enjoyed his time in Tucson, but getting a top 10 player who had offers from Stanford and UCONN to come to Tucson? That puts us in rarified air! And if Maya is half as good as a player and a person as brother Zeke, we got ourselves a great player and representative of the program. Even if they are only one and done, give me players like Zeke all day, every day. Bear Down and welcome to Tucson, Maya!
Re: Recruiting 2022
That's already 2 top 20 recruits for 2022
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

Adia just continues to do things at Arizona that nobody else has done in our history.AzCatFan2 wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 12:01 pm Adia is building a true program. So glad to hear about this. So want Adia and the women’s program to become a mainstay like the softball program. Barnes killing it.

For those interested Desert Swarm put out an article a few weeks back about all the big names we are in on for the '22 class. Adia has become a media darling on top of being a great coach, Her recruiting will continue to surpass anything we have ever seen from the women's side and only Stanford can really compete in the Pac 12.

I am probably going to buy season tickets for this upcoming year. If the success continues, which I have no doubt it will, this program is going to explode like when Lute got here.Longhorned wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 2:04 pmThere's no other sport I'd rather have define us.
