Official Bracketology Thread
Thought the women deserve one, especially since the men are not eligible this year. The Cats are currently a #3 seed, but they just beat #11 Oregon on the road tonight, http://www.espn.com/womens-college-bask ... acketology.

ESPN has the Cats as a #8 seed, http://www.espn.com/womens-college-bask ... acketology. It's early and if Adia could bring in Rogers, they should be ranked higher in the next bracketology.

Re: Official Bracketology Thread
Glad we might be able to sneak in and get a regional. Even with the return of Reese they still are offensively challenged. They need to bring their A game on defense.
That being said if we can make a sweet 16 that would be success. Can’t see us getting by a team like UofSC.

Re: Official Bracketology Thread
^^^^ Don't think that's the actual bracket.
That being said, I would think if we are anywhere near a #4 seed the ladies get it. Very few places that will draw as many fans as Tucson.

Selection show on now.
Re: Official Bracketology Thread
Selection show starting on ESPN.
I think Stanford is going to repeat. They're too damn good.

Oh geez. We got the 4th seed but in the overall #1 bracket.

Hosting. Nice.
Re: Official Bracketology Thread
Hosting as a 4 seed. Would have to play South Carolina in Greensboro if we get to the Sweet 16. Let's fill McKale and send the ladies off in style.
Re: Official Bracketology Thread
Glad we're playing Saturday/Monday since the men are Friday/Sunday. 4 straight days of Wildcats ball. Kick ass.

Like I said earlier, if they can make the S16 that will be success.
Oh and of course UCONN gets the Bridgeport region.

Agreed. Make it to Greensboro and give SC a half way decent game, it’s a tremendous season for them.EastCoastCat wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 5:19 pm Like I said earlier, if they can make the S16 that will be success.

I didn't realize this is the first year the women got to use the March Madness logo. Sad it took so long to even things out.
Wow, and officials weren't even payed the same as the men's tournament. Yeesh.

I hope Adia does not have dementia, the Cats hosted the first two rounds when she was a player.

The selection show is the same day as the men's right? Going to be a long week waiting... I just don't feel confident they've done enough to get in.

Now I REALLY wish we had beat USC since they upset Stanford to win the tournament. Ugh we came so damn close.

The spot is only lost if Gonzaga gets in too.
Not sure if they are or not.

Gonzaga is definitely in. Not good for our chances. Can't afford any more upsets.

Selection show is 5:00pm Tucson time on ESPN. They have us as the literal last team in, so let's keep our fingers crossed!

Just made Trident turn a TV to ESPN. Sucks how even good UofA bars in Tucson don’t understand.
Re: Official Bracketology Thread
Have to figure we would be a 12 or 13 seed and only two regions left for that to happen
Waiting at the Rose Bowl patiently for the cats to arrive
