The delay and quietness has FERPA feel to it. My guess it is something that is being investigated by the Dean of Students, either for academic or conduct violations, and Sean Miller and Greg Byrne are just letting the process happen.

I was down by McKale, checking out the new building yesterday and I saw Trier goofing around with Book. There didn't seem to be any issues or stress between the two.

Rumor is Trier will miss 2 more games and then be reinstated. UA still hasn't said why and probably won't but the claim is he'll be back for game 5.

If it's really PED's UA has to be feeling good they got a 4 game suspension for something that by rule is a full calendar year unless it's a false positive or the athlete had a waiver to use the substance. The problem with the waiver theory is if he did, there's not supposed to be a suspension at all.

If true I guess Santa Clara is his first game. Sort of fits he was in sweats the last game and clearly engaged in the game.

Because that's how important being "right" is to Naranjay Thakore. The rest of us don't give a flying f*ck.

I still haven't heard if the final hurdle for Trier to be cleared yet has occurred (wasn't anything major), but it was fully expected to at the very least be good to go by the Vegas games at the latest, barring a catastrophe of course. I didn't expect that hurdle to be cleared over the weekend, but hey maybe things like this are open for business on the weekends now. Did I mention fuck Ace though?
