Yeah kinda upsetting that it wasn't kept secret. Would've been nice for no one to know until like 3 minutes into the game tomorrow and then Trier casually stands up off the bench, takes off his sweats and goes to the scorers bench and checks in
A "Willis Reed" type entrance would have been pretty bad ass, but just the fact that he's playing is so exciting at this point.

But based off the previous info regarding testing, it seems unlikely they would have received a result today. My impression was the testing for road trips was timed so results would allow him to play both games. Could this be a result of the publicity this week?
The MLK holiday ruined any chance of him being cleared by the USC game. He took a test Tuesday, takes 3 days to get results, and here we are.

This is probably about UA/Miller wanting to promote local legitimate stuff as opposed to hindu gamblers who lie through their coke covered teeth.

I can guess-timate that one thing Trier will bring will be a sense of urgency to play defense, pretty sure Miller has made it clear that a lack of passion will sit your ass on the bench and the way the program works Trier is not promised a starting position so he's gonna come out like he has been working out with PED's with something to show...

The fastest track to the pine bench is to get beat by your opponent on D...so maybe his energy brings everyone else up a notch in spite of him being a well oiled rusty machine.

Arizona guard Allonzo Trier has been cleared by the NCAA and will be available on Saturday for the Wildcats against No. 3 UCLA, the school announced Friday.

"The NCAA notified us on Friday afternoon that Allonzo Trier's most recent drug test was negative," Arizona said in a statement. "Therefore, he is eligible to return to the court immediately and will be available for our game against UCLA." 8-)

In the sense that it would have been nice to have had a little bit of a rehearsal before such a significant test, for coach Sean Miller to work out how best to fit Trier into a 17-2 squad that has managed to win 11 consecutive games, it is a tad inconvenient.

It will be a challenge – tough first game to welcome him back,” Miller told Sporting News. “He has been practicing the entire time, so in a few weeks he should be fine.”

The most shocking part of all this is learning that it was Mr. Bug all dressed up in that nurse's gig, administering drugs to Trier. And now he's only mad at himself for not drugging him up more? Go suck wind, Mr. Bug!

My attitude. Gonna take time to integrate and coordinate. See: Miles Simon in 1997. Plus, he hasn't faced these new rules on D. Quicker whistles. Homestand against the Washingtons up next. Should be some room for error/adjustment in those games.

Don't think so. Think he went to the opener on his dad's dime. But a distant memory. Don't know about practice, but that's a good point,
