TBH, pretty damn mad that UNC is a 1. 7 freaking losses. That's like a CFP team with 4 losses. ACC getting the SEC treatment x2.

That's legit. It will always be difficult, but this is a decent path. I could see some upsets happening. The West is probably the easiest region.Catintheheat wrote:For the first time I can remember I really like the draw.

We have the best draw of any 2 seed, and a better draw than Zaga and UNC imo

We can't bitch about our draw this year
Re: Official Selection Sunday Thread
You should. It's the easiest path to the FF in the brackets this year.Main Event wrote:I like that draw

Re: Official Selection Sunday Thread
Guys I'm not BS'ing, **** the FF........lets go win this whole thing.
If we get some balanced officiating crews that let them play, we can take the whole thing.

Sean is licking his chops. The Cats can run this bracket no problem.
The Cat team I've been watching can beat every team in this bracket and most by double digits.

If you believe in Kenpom's metrics he has St. Mary's ranked as the #14 team, which is higher than Oregon, UCLA, and us.

3/4 of the final four being from the PAC is possible. Only happened once back in 1985.
Re: Official Selection Sunday Thread
Thank God we didn't get #1 in the South, playing in Memphis, Kentucky's back yard would've been tough

Not saying it won't take an effort but this Cat team is primed to take this region. Sean get's to the FF and maybe more.

Rarely is the NCAA tourney a cakewalk. When was the last time the champion hasn't been tested at least once in the tourney? The competitive edge is really a fine line. And the tourney is a crapshoot. True I like the Cats chanches, but they can't take any game for granted. The best team loses far more than we think.Gladiator Cat wrote:Sean is licking his chops. I completely agree, I just think the Cats bracket will work in our favor. We are solid in every respect and if truth be told I think we're the best team from top to bottom.Catintheheat wrote:Rarely is the NCAA tourney a cakewalk. It seems like Oregon is going to get slept on b/c of the Boucher injury. I think that's a mistake.
Re: Official Selection Sunday Thread
Oregon has to face Michigan, bad luck all around
