Haven't seen an announcement for the Red Blue game yet. Football plays here on 10/14 vs UCLA and at Cal on 10/21. Last year was 10/14

Re: 2017-2018 schedule
Hopefully we get Nova and NC State in B4A otherwise our schedule is weaker than last year. A&M and Alabama better be good this year
Re: 2017-2018 schedule
Quite possible that Alabama will be ranked coming into McKale.

A&M is going to be very good this year. NC State...probably not.Jefe wrote:Hopefully we get Nova and NC State in B4A otherwise our schedule is weaker than last year. A&M and Alabama better be good this year
Re: 2017-2018 schedule
UNLV pulled a solid recruiting class. So they can't be any worse than last year can they?
A&M was schizophrenic last year. They'll at least be a bubble team this season. And 'Bama will definitely make the tourney.
I think the schedule is pretty decent. We've had some bad luck in the past with Missouri being so crappy. And it looks like New Mexico is gonna be pretty awful this year. What can you do? It's hard to have a crystal ball when it comes to scheduling a series a few years in advance.
I still think Miller should publicly announce that Arizona would like to beef up its schedule and is willing to play anyone, anywhere for a 1-time payout. A loss at Kentucky or Duke is no big deal with RPI. And it will give his team a real test that it won't get in the Pac 12.

Re: 2017-2018 schedule
Last year, the conference itself provided a boost. Won't be as strong this year. Keep workin it!
Right where I want to be.

I recently heard from a friend of mine that during a meet and greet with Archie that he said he is absolutely going to get a home and home started with AZ in the "next couple of years."

Bring on the Maui Invitational in 2018! Already made plans with the wife and friends to go out to Maui when I found out there's a few games over the same time I'll be there. The wife was real excited and was looking forward to going to a game until I broke the news that Arizona gets to play three games. Looks like I'll be going to a couple games by myself then.

Good luck with tickets. I went in 05 and paid 1000 for 2 tickets that did not include the finals. Not a lot of float out there. Kansas was in that tourney and they had a bunch of fans who came out but got locked out

I failed to specify. Those tickets are only for those doing the tour, however since I live here in just looking for game tickets.Merkin wrote:dcZONAfan wrote:Fuck man, what about the Barcelona tickets? Anyone here have any idea how I can get those? Any insider info would be quite appreciated

Re: 2017-2018 schedule
I went in 2014. I waited until they sold full tournament strips and luckily they had them for school specific teams (want to say it was on sale in September ish). So on that day, I hit it exactly at the time they went on sale and nabbed a full strip. It was $118 per game. Sold out in like 30 minutes but they eventually offered a school specific strip without the finals. I think they offered a tournament strip that included every game but it was reserved seating versus the general seating for schools. Also people scalp them outside the small gym.VegasCatFan wrote:Bring on the Maui Invitational in 2018! I have my Battle for Atlantis strip bought for this year. I guess I do a lot of traveling lol. We originally thought about going overseas when it was to Italy but that is a long trip and it was canceled for Spain so it worked out.

Got any space on your floor? I could even sleep in the bathtub. Let me know if you hear anything about tickets.dcZONAfan wrote:Fuck man, what about the Barcelona tickets? Anyone here have any idea how I can get those? Any insider info would be quite appreciated

I bet you are going to have to wait until the venues are announced - then just contact them directly.dcZONAfan wrote:Fuck man, what about the Barcelona tickets? Anyone here have any idea how I can get those? Any insider info would be quite appreciated
Re: 2017-2018 schedule
True. Who do we think they will be playing, some B list Spanish team or will they possibly go up against FC Barcelona? That would be so sickthreenumberones wrote:I bet you are going to have to wait until the venues are announced - then just contact them directly.dcZONAfan wrote:Fuck man, what about the Barcelona tickets? Re: 2017-2018 schedule
B-list for sure.

Re: 2017-2018 schedule
If i added correctly, does this mean we only have 16 home games this year?
Re: 2017-2018 schedule
I count 18 with the 2 exhibitions.
Last year was the same and the year before that was 19

Re: 2017-2018 schedule
Yeah you have to book the hotel and you then "add on" the tickets. I hear that if you are staying there, you can buy them from the box office on the day of but I didnt risk it. Excited to go! With gambling and all the other money hogs, I have been saving since it was announced.
