Remember that BW was coming when we had Jahvon Quinerly committed as well.
If Brandon was willing to come and compete with Quinerly, he will not consider Akinjo an impediment.
No one considers to think that Akinjo might not be ok with the whole two PGs thing. Williams would take away Akinjo's 25+ minutes he thinks he'll be getting if he's coming here.
I don't think it's a fact of no one considering...
...I just don't think anyone cares if he backs out if it means we sign BW.

I tend to agree with that. No hotshot HS star wants to sit on the bench, but getting a year under your belt practicing against a one and done like B Dub has to help your game as you become a sophomore making you a much better player.
At least he's a true 1 unlike guys like Joe Cremo & Zach Johnson & Joseph Chartnouy who are combo guards. I don't understand why Arizona is only contacting a bunch of guards instead of a bunch of posts.

that is perplexing. hoping it means we are doing better with Jordan Brown than is being reported. I realize that is very wishful thinking.
SunnyAZ wrote:Jordan Brown reminds me of Dusan. That's after watching like 4 minutes of highlights.
What?
Jordan Brown is nothing like Dusan. He's way skinnier, smaller, faster and more athletic. He is more a 4 than 5. Of all the Cats to compare him to, Dusan would be way down my list.
All of the highlights I saw were just hooks/layups from the post. He looks super unathletic. Again, I watched like 4 minutes of highlights.

I thought I saw that he wAs planning on two and done.
From interview with dad regarding Few visit
I'll embed it for you
Belgium, 18, SF can't find his height but looks long in some YouTube videos, pretty athletic too. Can't really find anything on him on the internets.
Interesting story on this kid, his pro club has been actively not playing him to hide him, hence why when you search for anything on him good luck in finding much. They won't let him go without a fight.
Intriguing. I get sort of a poor man's Derrick Williams vibe in the combo forward vein from him. It's hard to tell because those highlights have some of the weirdest camera angles I've seen.

This kid looks awesome, I would love a high upside 3/4 like him. Exactly the type of player we need to recruit.
Starting to feel a renewed sense of optimism with Doutrive + Akinjo likely to commit + this kid...I like what I'm seeing from Miller this offseason so far. That's not to mention Bwill or any transfers/grad transfers either.

Where is he from?
Most young Euro players don't play a whole lot, even NBA level prospects. A lot of that is just because they kinda split time way more evenly than American teams do and probably because they aren't in the business of developing players that are leaving soon anyway. And they are trying to win so young players probably aren't the best for that.

I really like this guy. Hopefully he commits.
Belgium. This isnt any sort of powerful club team. They play in the Belgian league, so they are going to be comprised of a good amount of young players. Club teams hide guys all the time so they dont show up on anyones radar. This isnt the type of team who has 30 year old guys starting to compete.
"Plus, why would I go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros."

Very poor footage but to me he's more like Solomon Hill

Arizona’s recruiting class, which consists of four-star shooting guard Devonaire Doutrive, currently ranks 101st in the country, but it would jump to 46th if it lands Akinjo, per 247Sports’ class calculator

He looks a little longer and bouncier than Solo, but it's super hard to get perspective from those camera angles.
