Don't recall seeing a Bill Murray movie since then. But when his son worked for the UA basketball program that helped mitigate that.

So you were finally cured when Krzyzewski jumped up and down on the court as Lute signaled no shot to Jason Gardner.
I got over the 2001 Duke game pretty quickly, 10 years, thanks to Derrick MF Williams!

My goodness, if that video doesn’t give you a big stiffie, then you are not easily aroused. Then watching Kenny the jet Smith apologize to the chuckster for not knowing how good DWill was, well that was icing n the cake

Cats open as 6.5 point favorites over Illinois. I will lay that and say we cover by 15

I think it will be much closer. It's an early season game and they have experienced guards. Cats by two.

idk what this team will accomplish this year, whether they win the conference or if they're a high seed in the tournament or if they have a disappointing ncaa tournament or get upset, but im going to enjoy watching this team this season

i don't think there's been a more fun team who play hard, hustle, play with energy, play unselfishly in a long time, they're just incredibly fun to watch

The freshman so far are amazing

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

The 2011 team was pretty fun to watch but this year is going to be a ride. When DD gets back, we are going to be a high flying, scoring machine

13,780 to see the game tonight. Hopefully this performance gets the students excited and we have 14,500 for NMST next Sunday. Doubt we get a sell out for for San Jose St Thursday

Best team since the year Ashley broke his foot imo. Hopefully this is the year. Also happens to coincide with the last year we had a legit PG leader running things.

I see ya 97cats.

Miller mentioned that it was unfortunate that he didn’t get any minutes = tough to say where they should have come from.

Gotta stay healthy for the full season. No season-ending injuries.

This is the sexiest roster we’ve had in a while. Cannot wait to see this team in person on 12/21.

Bear down!

There’s a lag between sucking last year and awareness about this year. And even this year, a 21-ranking doesn’t create the kind of buzz we’ve seen for past teams. Now the conversation is becoming about how special this team could be. That will do the trick.

I'm sure there will be road games where the jumpers aren't falling and we'll need to rely on Jeter to score efficiently in the paint.

Daughter auditioned and got a role in the nutcracker.

6p 12/21.

Tip is 700p

Happy for my kid, something she’s wanted since she first saw the nutcracker at 2.5yo, (“when I grow up I wanna be in the nutcracker song”) and really bummed out that I can’t be in two places at since that day.

No matter...I’m parlaying this into carte Blanche for tourney time and have already requested the days for the first and last weekend of games off. Savings be damned if the opportunity arises.

Plus, he had trouble with Cockburn's size and strength last night and Zeke had it rolling. There won't be a lot of Cockburns and we'll need Chase to step up.

Long season.

Still love his hustle and enthusiasm. It will serve the team well at times this year. There's so much versatility in this team and so far everyone seems to understand their role. More importantly they seem to have caught on to the team concept very quickly and understand its benefits. Don't forget about Jeter. He'll have his moments this year IMHO. His role has just changed due to the influx of talent, notably the emergence and sudden impact of Zeke Nnaji.

Not worried about Jeter on the offensive end, but where are the charges he drew so regularly last year. Seemed to be a step slow stopping dribble penetration the past two games.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

I had to double check the spelling bc I'd written about him a couple of times, heard the pronunciation, and thought "oh god, did I misspell this guy's name as an STD??"

Other than ticket sales, what good can come of Thursday's game against SJSU? What are we hoping for? PT for our bench?

How about 25 minutes of Baker, Hazzard, Green, Gettings, and Koloko?

It's a warmup for New Mexico State, which honestly will be our toughest game to date. Work more on defense and rotation and quite possibly work another guy into the rotation.
