Well I guess it's wait and see time. Here's hoping for the best.
Re: Tommy Lloyd
Supposedly Gonzaga board is saying Lloyd to UofA.

If it's Lloyd I wonder if dumb and dumber pulled off a reverse Costanza...negotiated to pay more money compared to the original offer.
Re: Tommy Lloyd
It's odd, I find myself wanting to say "Sean Miller is a witch".

It's contingent on Lloyd having heart surgery performed by Ricky Bobby.

Re: Tommy Lloyd
The UofA President was all set to hire Tommy Floyd to replace Sean Miller, and then the UofA President got involved.

Orlando Vega!
Re: Tommy Lloyd
Lol. I did that once. I was alone and thought it was safe. Then the door opened up and I got out as three young women walked in. Wasn't even my floor, but I was not going to share that moment with them.

Re: Tommy Lloyd
It could still be a disaster since he hasn't been a head coach and we should never have fired Miller and even with firing Miller we should've been looking for higher level candidates than Lloyd...but Lloyd is a far better candidate than Pastner or Stoudamire or Brase, etc...
Lloyd is a hire I'm simply "ok" with and willing to give a shot, but not a disaster..I don't think.

Re: Tommy Lloyd
When I looked at one of the Gonzaga sites this morning all they had were links to Gil saying he was unqualified and 3 other articles from former player disapproving. We will see. Nothing on the Arizona site and nothing in National News yet.
Re: Tommy Lloyd
What are these Gonzaga sites you speak of

Re: Tommy Lloyd
That's the funny part if it is Lloyd. The major story today was Gil blasting him. #1 on Daily Star, etc.
Did Robbins see that and rush out to hire him?

Re: Tommy Lloyd
Not seeing anything on Gonzaga boards about Lloyd being our new coach. Just someone who posted week-old information, thinking it was new.
If your "side" has the support of mainstream media, the entertainment industry, globalist corporations, big Pharma, tech companies and the elite, you are NOT part of the resistance
Re: Tommy Lloyd
Yes on Saturday when someone questioned if he was leaving they said they had no other information than when they reported he was going to Arizona. I have seen no projections since then from the site I was looking at.
Re: Tommy Lloyd
Yeah, not sure how accurate that was. It was a frenzy when that popped up.

To pass the time, you guys should check out Tobe Nwigwe. I'm not affiliated with him at all, he's just making fantastic music right now.

Re: Tommy Lloyd
I really hope he is wise and keeps JET and/or Murphy on staff. Both great teachers and recruiters and a tie to the history of the program.

Meh
Prove me wrong Tommy Boy.
Prove me wrong Tommy Boy.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

really strong hire imo. happy about this one
Re: Tommy Lloyd
If any of you have access to this man, you gotta tell him to get the saguaro logo back on the court. One of the posters here has a good render with a Lute and Bobbi Olson tagline on it.
We haven't been to a final four since removing that cactus logo.

Zero chance. Best case, he retains the current roster and maybe adds one guy, but not Holmgren.RondaeShimmy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 3:18 pmChet Holmgren plzgronk4heisman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 3:17 pm 19 pages into the thread, now we can discuss what he can actually do.

Sure beats Pastner and Damon, along with no chance JeT and Miles.
Maybe Batcho will come back since Lloyd is very in touch with European players.gronk4heisman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 3:19 pmBatcho opened up a spot for himRondaeShimmy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 3:18 pmChet Holmgren plzgronk4heisman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 3:17 pm 19 pages into the thread, now we can discuss what he can actually do.
