It's going to be alright guys. I fully expect a commitment from Adama Bal this weekend. We will start Plan B and could very well back into a damn good point guard

Adama Bal I would not expect to play more than 5 MPG this year unless he has improved a lot. At this point we appear to be hoping for luck, which as a Wildcat fan has been nonexistent the last decade.

Bal is far from the only we’re going to land. We will have a quality plan B here for PG as well.

Bal's not gonna replace Tyty. He's a decent developmental prospect, but...well, that seems more like a replacement for the roles Simpson and/or Dezonie would have had.

It's a good point. Think I'm just looking ahead to next season and not feeling super enthused about our roster situation. But I definitely hear you about the PG situation and how it shouldn't be too hard of a sell.

More names will come into the portal. We'll be fine. Sahvir Wheeler is still out there. Marcus Carr is going through the nba process but I doubt he stays and he'd probably be the best option, he's a proven star. More names will see us looking for point guards and jump in the portal. We'll have options. Always the possibility of trying to snag a euro point guard. I don't think our roster will be set until July or August in all honesty. There's going to be a ton of quality players jumping in the portal in the summer. Lots of great options

I’m not saying that’s for sure going to happen, but it’s known on the market that Arizona is looking for a starting PG and can dish out 30ish minutes per game. Some quality guy would absolutely be interested in that situation and would reach out, hell they may already have.

It's reasonable to assume there are some players out there waiting to see what happens with Washington's decision and once that announcement is made, they'll act accordingly. If he doesn't choose Arizona -- then a player can see the PT available in Tucson and begin the process. Why jump in the transfer portal early if you aren't entirely sure the grass is indeed greener on the other side?

Haha, I was told a week after Arizona played Duquesne that their PG McConnell was a done deal to transfer to Arizona. I was told to keep it quiet all year. I will never complain about others tampering ever again.

You know, I disagree on Brown and think he has more value than this most of the people in this thread, but I feel like I've said that a bunch and the rest of this thread is one of the stranger arguments on here I've seen.
I mean, I disagree, but I can only fight so hard over Jordan Brown, who played one year at Arizona and a potential incoming freshman who might not even commit here.
This last page or so reminds me of when I was a kid and my parents started joking about which one of them was more of a flower child in the 60's and it evolved into them screaming at each other.

I loved Browns offensive footwork and was hoping to see a new side of him this season with Lloyd. Check out my well aged post from 10 days ago:
