That should have been announced by now. Not seeing it on P12, has to be streamed.

Few dozen tickets left still up top.

No stream this year. Pac12 didn't have enough crews to televise the red/blue showcase according to CTL

Pac-12 Arizona is listing a replay of the ASU soccer team's loss at Stanford in that time slot. I'm kind of anticipating the Pac-12 Networks fizzling out like air out of a balloon as the year goes on. Feel sorry for yourself, do the minimum, save money, then slap padlocks on the equipment and wave goodbye. Some of the cities and schools are great, but I won't miss the refs, the lame Pac networks, or a lot of the attitudes in the league offices.

Or is that just what they told him? Such a goofy conference.

The University of Arizona does not have the ability to stream the game by itself?

I'm gonna guess they're not even gonna bother putting up the pac 12 international channel on youtube this year. They've gone into full on zero shits given mode about the conference.

Surely if they can stream one of the summer games from their phone they can stream Red/Blue for us.

Not sure if there's any issue with rights, but they've got a pretty advanced audio/visual center right in McKale that ties to permanent stationary cameras, as well as a number of high-end portable cameras interns can man that can be tripod-mounted. Might be a little tricky producing that simultaneously with doing all the scoreboard and contractual advertising stuff, but they could figure out a hybrid. And even if it had a few rough spots, I doubt anybody would complain. Bring in Jeffries and Ryan Hansen, and you'd probably get a better streaming broadcast than whatever the Pac-12 Network would do. It would be classically ironic if the lame-duck P12N objected because of streaming competition with whatever other crap they put on in that slot.

There must be 200 churches n town that know how to stream an event. Maybe one one of them would be willing to help the UofA if they don't know how to do it.

Why do people care so much about practice? I just honestly don’t get it. I get it for people going because they can see the team for an affordable price who otherwise can’t go to many if any actual games. But why do people care so much about it being on PAC-12 network or streamed? We had exhibition games streamed and more will be televised soon. Why the demand for a practice?

Love Red/Blue. Always a great introduction to the newcomers and it gets me hyped for the season.

Very bummed I won’t get to see it.

Don't forget Harry West to narrate the intro, which sounded like he needed a whole box of Ex Lax. If you had a really good antenna so you wouldn't get a snowy signal from the transmitter in Rio Rico, you now realized that the picture was still kind of muddy because of the cheap cameras. Then on radio, you had Ray McNally mumbling through the broadcast on a station with a nighttime coverage map that barely reached north to River or east to Kolb. Ahh...the good old days! (But at least they covered all the games.)

Early in Fred's first year with the Kiddie Korps they played at Stanford where they lost. Ray McNally ended the broadcast with: "Ladies and Gentlemen, mark this date on your calendars - this is the last day that Coach Fred Snowden will ever have a losing record at the University of Arizona!" It was.

Coach certainly had a losing record when I was a freshman. Seem to recall he had some off court issues too, but can't remember what they were. His wife was picked up for shoplifting, but nothing to do with Fred.

It sure would have been interesting if Money and Norman had stuck around one more year than they did. Money, Norman, Elliott, Fleming, and Harris as starters with Myles, Rappis, Taylor, Gladney, and Gordy as backups. Wooden's last UCLA team was good, not great, with Dave Meyers and Marques Johnson. Ditto Kentucky with Rick Robey and a bunch of big slow guys. Louisville had Junior Bridgeman, and ASU had Lionel Hollins, but Arizona would have been right up there. And if Norman had ever had the three-point line, he would have been a lot like Reggie Miller. But Snowden lost touch with his midwest recruiting contacts, and he never really established them on the west coast. So, it was really a five-year run with a fizzle-out at the end.

If Money and Norman had stayed for four years it is more than likely that an undefdeated Arizona tream would have played an undefeated Indiana team for the National Championship. Under that scenario Jim Rappis once opined that he believed that Indiana was the only team that could have possibly have beaten the Cats.

Can't find a damn thing that says it will be. If it isn't occurring in Brian Jeffries voice it isn't real. He of the ancient poets who speaks word into world. Fuck this shit.

Do you ever get tired of lying?

I never said that. I said I don't get the demand for it being on TV and people being so upset that it isn't televised this year.

But keep lying it is what you do best
