I'm going to be completely honest here...after reading your post, I have no clue which side you are on.

I had a fellow UofA fan over tonight to watch and we had to rewind and wat h that halftime segment several times. Walton was in rare form tonight. He hands the cake over to Pasch for winning that award and says "Dave.... it's Dave right?" Hah...Then the Darwin book was too much. Add Bilas and it was the most entertaining commentary (for me) in a long time.

At another point i think they asked Pasch if he ever played. Then later Pasvh asked the guys if they had any special routine a la Rondae's shimmy, to which Walton replied "I was talking to TJ McConnell the other day..." as if to say F off with your dumb questions.

Long Live Bill Walton!

I will watch a boring basketball game if Walton and Pasch are working together. I also liked the old TV show "The Odd Couple" and the not-so-old TV show "The Office". Uncomfortable humor makes me laugh. And Bill Walton makes me laugh.

Last night for the first time, possibly in the history of the world, Bill Walton interrupted his own nonsensical non-sequitur to comment on a play that happened in the game he was working.

It's one small step for man, one giant leap for Waltonkind.

Best comment by Bill Walton last night was "A program like Oregon just can't compete with an elite program like Arizona who has the facilities, the prestige, the history the tradition and NIKE money."

Priceless.

Last season he annoyed the hell out of me but hey it's Bill Walton so ya know, put up with it. Maybe he annoyed me more because last season's team seemed a bit more frustrating than this years, probably something to do with the offense last yr. But I digress. Enjoyed the hell out of him tonight again. And Roberts was great with him. Didn't talk over him just let him keep rolling. Walton is such an lover of all things Arizona Basketball, knows so much about our program, history, and city. Keep up the good work Bill!!!

Was bummed he didn't take the handoff from the PBP guy to talk about Amy van Dykken's return to the mic earlier in the day. Something tells me he knows nothing of her story. He jumped off that free platform to talk about the greatness of the spirit or the will of the human or however he could have rhapsodized about it and, instead, stroked Larry Scott for single-handedly inventing the network.

I love Bill, but that was a miss. Again, I wonder if he had any clue what his partner was talking about...

There will be no basketball commentary during basketball games. And there will be no more obstacles to color commentators obtaining drugs for basketball broadcasts. Not on my watch. Not in our tomorrow.
