I was going to post when Walton was gargling Larry Scott's nuts, but decided to leave it alone. But his statement that Vegas is the only man-made thing you can see from space at night? Uhhhh... what??? You can see literally every city from space at night. Did someone switch his weed with oregano?
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Re: Ban Bill Walton Petition
I can't believe he's been defending GPII's DPOY win. Ridiculous.

Re: Ban Bill Walton Petition
Watched a few non-Pac12 games lately and it was so refreshing that they actually talked about the game >95% of the time....As much as Walton loves on the UA, I'm so tired of his tangents......wish he would be replaced asap.Chicat wrote:He's obviously just a shill for the conference admin at this point.AZCatGirl wrote:I can't believe he's been defending GPII's DPOY win. Walton is on fire tonight. Covering the game when appropriate, and dicing it up with compelling stories and novel facts.

I thought the tidbit about the Mojave desert being the smallest desert in North America was gold. It's kind of funny Chris Webber got Michigan's FF appearances vacated and is now announcing the tourney.azgreg wrote:Tournament announcing teams:

How about Walton declining to comment on conference awards. Take it strong, Big Fella!

Bill predicted that Korcheck would "be a pro next year"!!! (He didn't mention what level)
When he's focused, he offers lots of details of players, both famous and bench warmers - you'll never get that from the majority of tournament broadcasters - conference or NCAA's - he takes the time to genuinely interact....

Also said Matt attended "Arizona University." But the best part was when he called the Utah margin "incalculable," and Pasch signed off with, "Utah wins by the incalculable margin of 24 points."pc in NM wrote:Bill predicted that Korcheck would "be a pro next year"!!! (He didn't mention what level)

I'm Bill's biggest critic, but he was pretty good tonight. Probably because it was such a great game. Not a lot of opportunities to plug Bob Dylan's album.

Walton gave the Oregon Duck head before the game. Seemed to enjoy it too.

Yes he was, very good. Like Bill has said during the year, if the opposing team isn't interested in playing then he isn't either.Chicat wrote:I'm Bill's biggest critic, but he was pretty good tonight. Probably because it was such a great game. Not a lot of opportunities to plug Bob Dylan's album.

Bill is so much worse in this game. I think the problem may be Pasch. The animosity (whether real or not) is annoying.

Lol @ Pasch sitting on 3 chairs
Love the 've! Stop with the: Would of - Could of - Should of - Must of - Might of

I love how they have to stack three chairs to make Pasch look normal on TV. Can't they just get him a phone book?
Re: Ban Bill Walton Petition
Dave and Bill are our good luck charms. Shame neither is doing the tournament.

as much as i love walton/pasch, ko, yam & the p12 studio crew, there is something special about hearing ggumbel, nantz, rafferty, lundquist, kellogg, packer, etc. in march. soothes my soul.
Re: Ban Bill Walton Petition
I'd watch just about any sport regularly...even the NFL again...if Walton were calling the games.
I really don't care about the former player talking Xs and Os. That is everywhere, on virtually every other broadcast of basketball in the ever growing media marketplace. Give me something entertaining...
Bill is entertaining.
