I liked that thread. It's one of those "Eventually the future happens, and then you know" type of threads.Chicat wrote:Congrats, you found the only thread at TOS that I didn't participate in.SCCats wrote:It certainly wouldn't be the first time my takes have been called ridiculous.'ZONA97 wrote:To second guess his decision from where we sit as fans is ridiculous.

That whole thing however many weeks ago with Rocky was what got me thinking about that old thread.UAEebs86 wrote:SCCats wrote:It certainly wouldn't be the first time my takes have been called ridiculous.'ZONA97 wrote:To second guess his decision from where we sit as fans is ridiculous.

Didn't realize how much you liked Tony Bennett. Was RockyRaccoon your sock?
Same. Was surprised to find how different he was from Lute.Chicat wrote:I loudly and proudly defended KO . . . until it was time not to defend KO.
He refuses to change up his offense or defense. He is too predictable. Strictly man to man(ok against Oregon), will give you no chance to beat UCLA. His only offensive play is the double screen @ the top of the key, was easily defended by Oregon. His man-to-man defense allowed Oregon to shot 60% in the first half. He is an average coach & will lead Az to be a average team in the Pac 10(see his records with prior teams). His novelty has worn off. Please consider someone else.

Stats dont lie when it comes to TJ - And thats just 1/2 of the story of his game.McConnell said he isn’t worried about personal statistics or accolades. But so far, he has been one of the stars of the NCAA Tournament, in two games scoring 31 points on 21 field-goal attempts, with 10 assists and just four turnovers, 10 rebounds and nine steals.

Never understand mocking crying anyway. Just shows how bad they want it. Really going to miss him. One of my favorite Cats ever.Merkin wrote:Guess I can't poke fun at crying players now. Good luck TJ, gonna miss you most of all.
Usually it was players UA fans hated. That made it easier.gumby wrote: Never understand mocking crying anyway.
Nice write up...thanks for sharing. Everyone is going to miss TJ, he left us with some great memories. And like the quote at the end, hopefully TJ comes back one day to coach at AZ!
i wonder and worry about Brandon's situation. Seems his mom might have health issue's. Saw her at Staples up close outside restrooms and she was in an electric wheel chair.'ZONA97 wrote:You realize dude's from Chester, PA right?
Every year he stays in college is another year his family has to do without. Every game he plays before he goes pro is just another chance to have a career ending injury and POOF... there goes the $$$. Brandon Ashley last year had to hit close to home for him. Not to mention Isaiah Austin, anyone???
He's a first round lock. He has people he needs to take care of. He'll develop just as well (if not better) in the NBA. Barring injury he's a 10+ year pro.
To second guess his decision from where we sit as fans is ridiculous.
Probably would lower the domestic violence rate.UAdevil wrote:I'm sure some rival fanbases are making fun of TJ, and I've ripped our rival 'bag players' crying, but emotions are good. Hiding them and holding them in will kill ya. Feelings are OK. lol.
