It certainly was. A great win for the wildcats. They were tested at home by a talented, efficient team which took them to overtime. This win will pay dividends throughout the season and certainly can't hurt when tournament seedings are decided.

The atmosphere at Mckale was great. I couldn't hear the guy next to me it was so loud. The only downside to the game was, as usual, the inconsistent PAC12 officials. I still can't believe they whistled Pitts for that last foul in OT.

If Parker Jackson-Cartwright had played 15-20 minutes instead of just 9 there is a pretty good chance that this game would never have gone into overtime.

PJC really needs 20 minutes per. The offense is so much more potent with him out there. No offense to TJ, who is by far the better defender.

Understand the push for PJC, but who would he guard for 20 minutes? One of the keys was bottling up Pangos, and TJ and Rondae did a great job. Can't see PJC having similar success. Bell and Wesley are too big and strong.

Willtjer and Pangos were a combined 9-25. That's Ashley and the guys I mentioned doing great work. Zags put a big team out there. Dranginis, Sabonis also big. Think that's why York and PJC got less time. Pitts got more.

He'll get more time. This just wasn't the matchup for it.

Going forward, I would like to see Johnson and Rondae operate more on the block, even if that means Tarc flares to the wing (15 feet or so). The dump downs to him just aren't paying off enough. Make the forwards play down there. They can score, draw fouls and pass. Tarc can get his when those guys get doubled. Same with Ashley. Basically, invert what we sometimes do now .
