Pitts played well again tonight ... Becoming a more valuable member of this team every game.

^^^ not sure what this cryptic post is supposed to mean.

Pitts had 8 pts, 1 reb, 0 stl, 0 ast, 0 blk, 1 TO.

York had 3 TO, so I guess it was him. To go with 15 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast, 0 stl, and 1 blk.

Eh.... there was that Kyryl guy, and that one year with Josiah and Sidiki. But yea, overall I agree. He's still shooting 85% on recruiting.

Felt bad for York all the hate he was receiving tonight from the color guy, and the UNLV players.

Going to see a lot more ISOs against York now, Pitts too.

For as bad as York was defensively, Pitts was just as bad when he was in there.

Agreed, it was really unfortunate when Rondae fouled out, he was the only one of the three capable of keeping his man in front of him.

Both Pitts and York with 20 minutes.

Yeah start Pitts every game! He got us up to such a fast start, we didn't even need him after the first 160 seconds.

Per the Guys on the radio :

Pitts has a hand injury which was causing swelling in the hand during half time. Pitts didn't even know when the injury happened.

He went for x-rays (they don't have a machine in the nike arena, wtf?!) and never came back.

They(the guys on the radio) don't even know which hand it was.

He had his left hand taped, Miller joked that Pitts hurt his hand by fouling another 3 point shooter. He then went on to address that by pointing out that Pitt's has fouled a 3 point shooter like 17 times in his career.

He later said he shouldn't be joking about Pitts injury because he has no idea how serious it is, and he is an invaluable player on the team.

Was he abducted by aliens?

Didn't need him last night, but hope he gets well. He and York sucked it up badly last night. Particularly on defense.

Ashley had some forgettable moments on that end, too. Couldn't contain the blow-bys from smaller players, like Cook.

Heard nothing was found on the xrays, and that he is available to play Sunday if needed. Doesn't mean they'll play him...but I heard it's nothing serious.

I don't see anything from Brian Jeffries. I imagine you have seen this video but I will post it anyway. This is the only interview that I have seen postgame.

What happened to posting youtube videos in this forum? Did it change the last few days?

No 3 pointers in 3 straight games, and only 2 total in the last 5 games.

But his D has been solid.

We dont need another gunshy shooter on the floor. And he hasnt been hitting from deep either. His D and intangibles have been very commendable tho

York was and is more dynamic as a scoring guard. Guess the coaches get paid for a reason. York was clutch. 3 pointer, steal, rebound, missed FT rebound and make sequence in the last few sealed another Pac-12 championship for Zona. Pitts' time will come.

For folks who don't understand the context, the topic diverged from the OP to a York vs. Pitts discussion. Pitts is a quality player, not taking any digs at him.

Because Miller did not think he should.

And while I normally hate the "coach knows best" responses, which I am and have been guilty of in this instance, I have that much faith in Miller.

Would. not. trade.
