I wouldn't like our chances for a deep run if we were a 4 or 5, Duke, Kentucky Maryland etc would be tough.
My thoughts exactly. Cal has a tougher draw.

Since we play the winner of a play in game does that mean we will play Froday/Sunday? Or does it not matter?

The RPI really hurt the Cats.

Hate the 6 seed and having to fly across country for the first two rounds but I doubt we could have received better match ups for us

Duke a 4 seed yet Arizona a 6 seed? At least they aren't playing in N.C. like most other tournaments.

I guess the committee doesn't use Sagarin or BPI. We were much higher in both of them.
They look at margin of victory/loss, not just absolute wins.

We aren't too bad against teams with good guards. I was more afraid of drawing a big athletic team like Oregon.

If the committee looked at our margin of losses, no way are they not a 4. I just find it ridiculous that given how well respected the Pac-12 obviously is as a whole (given how many teams made it and with Oregon being a 1 seed) how little they thought of the Cats. I guess the killer was the OOC SOS.

Pac 12 Seeds

Oregon - 1
Utah - 3
Cal - 4
AZ - 6
OSU - 7
USC - 8
Colorado - 8

7 teams in as expected. Sucks for Washington.

CBS is really dragging the selection show out this year, probably for advertising revenue. Some people can forget about having plans for the afternoon.
