Luke is out as Lakers coach. I’m guessing that means Miles is too.

Awesome for Blair :)

And did Luke even have time to finish his sandwich before he got hired by Sacramento? That was quick.

Congrats to Luke. Hopefully this is the right situation for him. Amazing the number of players from Lute’s years are coaching and doing it at a higher level

Luke’s attorney just came out against allegations

Luke Walton’s attorney Mark Baute’s statement regarding Kelli Tennant’s lawsuit:
“Luke Walton retained me to defend him against these baseless allegations. The accuser is an opportunist, not a victim, and her claim is not credible. We intend to prove this in a courtroom”

Yep. I mean, we don't know these guys personally, but Luke is someone who's always come off as a good guy. I've never once heard him described as creepy or aggressive, dating back to his AZ days. Just a weird, disturbing story.

Question: “Do you have an understanding as to the word consent?”

Rose: “No but can you tell me?”

Question: “I just wanted to know if you had any understanding.”

Rose: “No.”

Walton should make sure he's heavier into his deposition preparation than Rose was.

I have no idea whether it is true or false, but in every one of these situations, the allegation should be treated with the utmost seriousness.

True, no woman should be subjected to anything close than that. Untrue, that allegation is devastating and shouldn't be linked to someone who didn't do it. In the grayer middle, you just don't know.

As big an Arizona fan as I am, there are things that go deeper, and treating women with respect as a man is one. If Walton did that, I could care less where he school.

I hope the truth emerges.

That's a question I've been seeing bandied about lately. In my mind, outside of his longevity, I don't know that he's got the numbers to back up a HOF career.

Then again, we're not talking about the MLB Hall here. So maybe he can sneak in...

How 'bout if the Phoenix Suns trade Josh Jackson to Philadelphia for TJ McConnell, a future first, and filler? And then sign Rondae Hollis-Jefferson as an unrestricted free agent?

Okay, then how 'bout if the Suns sign every former Wildcat free agent? If they're going to suck anyway, they might as well give us a reason to buy tickets.

The Lakers need cheap FA's to fill a bench. TJ and Rondae would be nice fits there, IMO.

Lakers need scorers. I'm not sure they really need a pure point guard with LeBron on the roster.

They’re going to have like four players signed after this deal goes through. Plenty of room for a back up point guard.

LeBron and AD are both good for 20+ a night, and Kuzma is close. The need a few shooters who can defend (Collison, Danny Green, ideally Brogdon).

A guy like TJ or RHJ is in that next tier, trying to fill out the roster with value adds.

Arenas played there late career. Steve Kerr. I think Channing was there briefly...that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Did Rooks stop there?

Edit: I looked it up, Rooks was there for 20 games.

Cube's BIG3 League: https://www.azdesertswarm.com/basketbal ... v-schedule" target="_blank
Jason Terry, Mike Bibby, and Gilbert Arenas are three names that comes with a hint of nostalgia with a dash of idolization.

Relics of days of Final Fours and national championships. Something that has been missing in Tucson for 18 years.

Luckily for Arizona Wildcats fans, they will be able to (slightly) relive the glory days as the Wildcat trio will not only be playing in the Big3 tournament, they will be captaining their respective teams as Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 league of former NBA stars gets underway this summer.
