I don't know how. The only way you could spin it would be Lee, but even there, it certainly doesn't look like Stan's decision played a role.

Other than that, it had no effect other than positive.

I am not saying he cost us Lee. It was just a random question. I am happy for him and wish him the best in the League thats for sure! He grew alot this year.

I wish Stanley all the best and think the impact will be a positive. He will be another lottery pick we can boast about, and the delay in the decision seems to at least be partially because he really liked his time in Tucson. Both of those things are selling points for recruits to come. Your legacy of putting people in the league, developing players and having guys who love it there enables the next generation of Wildcat stars.

Why not play for a GM who thinks he's a better player than you and would probably try to mentally break you down to win an after practice 1 on 1 game?

And then have to stand on the perimeter while Al Jefferson, Kemba Walker, Gerald Henderson and Lance Stephenson hog the majority of the 95 possessions your team sees per game (bottom 1/3 in the league)...

So we go from a top 3 to a top 15, maybe top 12, as long as Tarcs back. Cant be mad at that at all for a rebuilding year

We need to know what Tarc's doing. With him, we're solidly the Pac favorite. Without him, Pac's up for grabs.

It's funny thinking back to early press conferences when Miller talked about Stanley, to Miller's comments about him now. He's really grown as a person and it'll be fun to watch his career.

Another one and done wanders off to the nba.

I wonder how much the fans will even remember his brief stint here, a decade from now

How many fans remember Jerryd Bayless

Stanley, so much talent, but you accomplished nothing and you will be remember for nothing. 5 years from now all fans will probably say is "Stanley Johnson, he played at Arizona right"

Did he even talk to Aaron Gordon about how much fun the NBA is. But he is getting paid and cant fault him for that

I would of liked to see Stanley for another year, I get the money and risk of injury but it would of been nice to keep him a little longer. Look at the ones that have gone and done little to nothing, not saying this will be Stanley because I think is ceiling is higher. Love all the ex cats but I'm more about the name on the front of the Jersey. I want national titles not just NBA draft picks.

Conference championship... Conference tourney championship... 3lite 8...All Conf.... Conf FOY.... 3rd team All-American... Julius Erving award winner.

I realize that may pale in comparison to NewportCat's lofty contributions and accolades, but.... Actually, I think he stole your 15 minutes and then some...

Hell, people around here remember Ndudi Ebi. They'll remember Stanley.

I am genuinely ignorant. Are there any one and dones that are still revered by their schools? Can only think of MJ.

I'm sure there are quite a few but I think just the nature of being one and done makes you more forgettable unless they're Final Four MVP, FOY, and Nobel prize winner.

Melo and AD are NBA stars.

In my opinion, one and dones are only remembered by their schools if they go on to huge success in the NBA. Players like TJ McConnel, who have played for more than a single year, will be revered no matter how successful they are at the next level.

Not bitter at all, just curious how memorable one and dones typically are to their schools fan bases.

I think they are remembered, regardless of nba success, if they take their team to a championship.

"Shortly after declaring for the 2015 NBA Draft, Daily Wildcat sports reporter Justin Spears reported Arizona basketball forward Stanley Johnson was involved in a car accident next to Park Avenue Garage near Speedway Boulevard and Park Avenue.

Johnson was making a left turn from Helen Street onto Park Avenue when his Dodge Challenger collided with a Ford Explorer traveling southbound on Park Avenue.

It is unknown if Johnson was at fault in the accident, but he is uninjured.

Approximately an hour before the accident, Johnson announced his decision to declare for the 2015 NBA Draft. The freshman from Fullerton, Calif. put up per game averages of 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals during his lone season at Arizona."
