Man I hope he gets a fair chance in making it in the league. Whoever thought Steve Kerr would have had such a great career in the nba. Whatever happens I see TJ as a top coach in college with a similar trajectory as coach miller.

What I don't get is that TJ's only press used to be the little he got by comparison to Aaron Kraft as a white guard with a short brown hair. Now that Kraft got his last media blow job after his first-round loss, TJ gets no attention in the national media, even while he shows himself to be maybe the best guard in all of college basketball, and far surpassing anything Kraft ever showed on the court.

And yes, we broke utah. They were lucky to get by WSU the other night too. They need to get their mojo back in the conference tourny

A lot of people do that kind of stuff. You could see a softball sized lump in his throat when he did it. He meant every bit of the sometimes hollow gesture.

I really want this kid to find a way to keep playing...overseas, somewhere. Sadly, wherever he winds up will likely be a step down from McKale and being a Cat, at least in how crowd support goes. But I really want someone to pay this guy to keep playing...

And if it is not in the cards, a grad assistant job under Miller would be cool, too...a stepping stone to a true coaching lineage....

Time zone amd regional passion. Everyone could watch when Kraft played. Fans and media more into college hoops outside the West. LA and Bay Area are the dominant media markets in the West. They don't pay much attention to college hoops in general. Best teams are in Tucson and Spokane. The passion in those towns is not reflected elsewhere in the West.

if it weren't for Wildcat and Zag fans, those conference tournaments would be busts.

Kevin Pangos just won it in the WCC, though Wiltjer, Haws and many others scored a lot more. Pangos, 11.6 and 5 assists.

I think it should be TJ, but predict it will be Wright.

That is about as good of a performance of Cat in a tournament game that I can remember. And what a time for it with the poor shooting by Ash, RHJ and SJ.

TJ is not done playing basketball. Not by a longshot

But I do see him on the Arizona bench sometime in the future.

This would be ideal. This or Europe for 3/4 years and then make an NBA attempt as veteran or Miller assistant.

I read where he wants to go into coaching like his dad so maybe he will want to start early.

It's a damn shame he wasn't ever really nationally discussed as a top all-american. He's easily one of the best college basketball players in the country. He's fucking nails. At least the world will know now hopefully.

I will say...Joseph Young has stepped his game up since winning the POY. Thing is, so has TJ, if that is even possible.

It's a pretty fun non-story to watch...both guys are coming up huge. I have a lot of respect for Young...I don't think he should have won the POY, but I respect his game and how he handled the post-award media.

It's like Dueling Baskets....

A variation of the stat noted that TJ was the second Pac-12 player to do that, joining Jason Kidd.
