Is the underestimated city still open? I made an online purchase over 3 weeks ago and haven’t received any order updates. Tried emailing and the listed phone number doesn’t work.UAEebs86 wrote:

Was your CC charged? I want to get some of DDLM ones but don't want to deal with credit card issues.Frybry02 wrote:Is the underestimated city still open? I made an online purchase over 3 weeks ago and haven’t received any order updates. Tried emailing and the listed phone number doesn’t work.

Yes it was. I am actually heading to Tucson for a conference next week and will be paying the store visit if I don't hear anything before then.Merkin wrote:Was your CC charged? I had an identical experience. Two emails have been unreturned. Bought two t shirts in early June. Gonna have to dispute the charge with the bank soon.Frybry02 wrote:Yes it was. Israel seems like a good guy, I hope he's not having financial problems with REPTUC.

Not knowing him or his company, it reads like a cash grab before bankruptcy. I have seen it in local firms where they accept orders knowing full well they will never fill them, declare bankruptcy, then the customers become part of the creditors.
Not saying that's what is happening here, but such occurrences make me wary.

FWIW, my wife and I at least temporarily got her bank (she bought on her card) to refund the money to us and will deal with them.
I don't like doing that because I've bought from them before, but it's been a month, multiple emails and no response.

I'm about to do the same Spiff. They did mention there would be delays, but no responses to emails is ridiculous.

Fry/Spiff/Choo/Yo:
I just asked my son about REPTUC and the problems you guys are having. He said that he ordered online from them in the past, and even though you put in your address, it actually says "In-Store Only" in the fine print. He realized this weeks later and he had to go down to the store to get his item.
It sucks that Israel is not responding to your e-mails, that makes me think it's something worse.

I stopped in the store today and spoke with lady at the register. She said order should be going out next week and referenced a post on Instagram for more information

Mine too. We cancelled the dispute with the bank so they'll get their $. I wasn't thrilled about the more than a month delay, but I'll live.ChooChooCat wrote:My order just arrived yesterday.

My suggestion would be to buy them on fantatics. You will at the minimum get free shipping and loyalty dollars and it is the same price as on the nike website

Gone from Nike site
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

I'm in town for the next couple of days and want to pick up some gear. Bookstore still seems to have the best variety of choices. Anywhere else I should check out?

Re: Arizona Gear
Not in my opinion. Underestimated City used to have some limited release stuff, but their UA license is gone and I had a pretty bad experience with their customer service during the liquidation.EastCoastCat wrote:I'm in town for the next couple of days and want to pick up some gear. You could see if they have any in store. Beyond that, I don't know any retailer that will have unique stuff.
Re: Arizona Gear
Campus Athletic on University stocks a lot of the Nike gear, sometimes they mostly overlap with bookstore but sometimes they have very little stock in common. The McKale shop is sometimes good at having a lot of different stuff than the bookstore too.EastCoastCat wrote:I'm in town for the next couple of days and want to pick up some gear. If you want something more unusual, maybe check out places like Kohl's/Old Navy/etc big stores. They have stuff for the local markets that's not usually available online. Pretty much everything in the bookstore/McKale/Campus Athletic is gonna be on Fanatics and other online shops.
Re: Arizona Gear
Bookstore will have the most options but Ive found some great stuff at the shop on the corner of 2nd St and Park
Re: Arizona Gear
Drove by there the other day and it was emptied out. Anyone know what the deal is there? Since I thought that building became university owned a few years ago.Jefe wrote:Bookstore will have the most options but Ive found some great stuff at the shop on the corner of 2nd St and Park

Interesting. I drove past Campus Athletic last week and thought I saw a new name on the window.prh wrote:Drove by there the other day and it was emptied out. Anyone know what the deal is there? Since I thought that building became university owned a few years ago.
There was a small UA shop downtown off Stone and Pennington. Wonder if its still there

Just a curious question....
On Brian Brigger's Twitter his cover pic is a huge room with shelves of Nikes. Are the players allowed to pick whatever pair of Nike shoes they want for each game? Or do they pick 1 for the season? Etc. Just real curious how that works.

Re: Arizona Gear
I believe the players give Brian their preferred styles and he orders them from Nike, but then Nike also sends any styles they’d like to promote.billk78 wrote:Just a curious question....

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Re: Arizona Gear
Ya they get several options to choose from as well as another one or two limited release options that come out during the season. I believe each player gets 1 or 2 pairs of whatever shoes they want for personal use. Plus clothing. Watch this:billk78 wrote:Just a curious question....

Re: Arizona Gear
It looks like I can get them made, sent to me and make it worth the hassle for $25 each. I can ship for $5 more if not local. I just got a sample XL made and the drifit is really soft but its too big for me. The green cactus came out a little darker which looks better. I'll try to remember to get a pic of it tonight.

Yes I did thanks. I talk to the lady that gets them made tomorrow at tailgating and I'll get the order in. 7 so far. I may order extras just in case someone wants to join the party. March/April everyone's gonna want one

I agree and I should probably keep my mouth shut but whoever drew on those shoes has never seen a cactus.
