You just never know what could happen with a roster full of future NBA players. Memphis is dangerous.
Yeah, but Memphis is a standard bearer for wasting NBA talent. Penny's scored two #1 classes and a third with 2/3 of the class being 5 and 4 star guys and he ekes into the tourney once in those years.
In 2019, he added 5 top 50 players including two top 5 recruits to a roster with 3 returning starters and was barely over .500 in the AAC and probably would have missed the tourney.

Totally, Spiff. And when Gonzaga beats them by 30 on Saturday, we'll all just nod and sigh.
But every now and then -- not often -- one of these rosters loaded with OADs pulls an upset or two. If Memphis is heating up right now, I would not wanna be in their path. Gimme the TCU/Seton Hall winner all day.

If they play pitbull defense, anything's possible. The worst thing to run into in the tourney is an athletic, physical team that's peaking at the right time.

It's hard to understand just what prevents Longwood from being a not completely horrible defensive team. They look like Division 1 players. I just have no idea what they're going for on defense. It's like, let's all run to the corner on the weak side and see if that stops 'em.

Long game, but I can't say I think Iowa is destined for much. They're 100% a consistent, good team without an extra gear.
I do think they pull through this one, though.

So far Georgia State is too jittery to make uncontested layups. Only two defensive mistakes to this point. Could keep it under a 40 point loss.

Don't see it happening. Iowa looks like we did in Boulder. Tired and uninspired. Can't buy a 3, everything clanging off the front of the rim.
