Mostly it's an issue of making UW tougher to beat, but we keep saying we want the conference to get stronger. Well, with Cal, UW and Utah stepping up, here it comes.

We have two five-stars on the perimeter, along with PJC, Allen, Simon and Pitts. Only York departs for sure. I can see where a recruit would think that's crwoded.

UW, by comparison, is thin at guard. Massive PT guaranteed. And that's important if college is just a nine-month stopover.

We could completely whiff on guards, and still have plenty. I'm more interested in the Big Finn or others like that.
Agree. All the main issues. Objective.

Ditto with Andrew Jones apparently. Only problem is Texas is also included as warmer and has been the trend for predictions for his landing spot as of late on that site as well.

If we get JJ, it's all good, even if the rest of our '16 class is 3 and 4-star guys. If we don't get JJ, and no other top target comes, it's concerning. Like most others, though, I've got faith that Miller will sort this out. He's earned our trust. Maybe we bring in some transfers or international players.

UNC Wisconsin, Kansas are few I can think off the top that don't have a 2016 commitment.

Not to be greedy, but are you hearing anything on Lauri or Jones?

What are Lauri and Jones' full names? Can't find them on the recruiting websites. Are they unranked?

In the footage I can find, both guys look very good. Lauri's quickness and athleticism belies his large 6'10 frame. And AJ has a very quick first step.

LM, AJ, and JJ would be a heck of a class, especially on the heels of our '15 class.

Scout and 247 updated their rankings. Andrew Jones comes in at #30 on Scout and #53 on 247. Lauri is #21 on 247 and scout doesn't have him in top 100, I imagine that's cause they haven't seen him in person or just don't rank international recruits. Jackson #1 on 247 and #2 on scout.

If you could read his mind, John, what a tale his thoughts could tell. Just like a paperback novel- the kind the drugstores sell. When you reach the part where the heartaches come....

Eh Never mind, I just hope the ending's not too hard to take.

Ever since Leaf de-committed... Enter #2.

I never thought I could feel this way: I want Lightfoot now, but heroes often fade. He could walk away, like a movie star who gets burned in a 3-way script. I really do believe that Miller could bring all the good things out in him. But for now, let's be real.

This ends badly, and I won't read that book again.

I am going to find a wishing well tomorrow... got any spare change?

Glad there are at least a few other middle aged farts on the board. :D

Are we getting desperate in this class?

Offered Slick Ponds today but he turned us down as it was too late in the game. Turned us down for St Johns, Minnesota, Creighton, and Providence
