Oh my god, the courage to screenshot something at 1% battery is something magnificent to behold.
Schlabach probably plugs in at 83%.
PS - Scheer is doing work.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
I love the rhetoric from the media is that Miller's job isn't safe. Nobody's job is safe FFS. If there's incriminating evidence found of course Miller will be fired. Until then there's nothing and it's just a rhetoric that ESPN needs to continue to spin and the Arizona media is more than happy to help them push that narrative because it draws clicks.
Such a colossal waste of time. Bring on the season. Fuck ESPN and the Arizona media.
Guaranteed Schlabach will try to sue Scheer someday over that text and call it "gotcha journalism".
Regardless, Scheer keeps shedding the light on the ugly truth that is Bristol "ethics." ESPN is married to Disney, and the conglomerate is calling the shots throughout this story. Making it clear who the sacred cows are in the process.
The next ESPN rep who comes to Tucson to talk Arizona basketball should just be referred to Scheer. Even the Phoenix media have been more or less Bristol bagboys reporting this nonsense.
Vitale, in particular, has devolved to the Squealer (read: Animal Farm) of sports journalism. And that's pretty asswipey status.

This is hilarious, and I kid you not, my phone is at 83% and I'm about to plug it in. To be fair, I'm about to get ready for work and I like my phone fully charged when I leave. Damn thing barely last all day anymore.
Besides ESPNs agenda being bright as day, I have nothing else to add here.
67 "Paragraphs", 4 of them briefly mention his FBI issues but they are quick to point out that Duke fully vetted him and he is good to go, nothing to see.....................

Duke "vetted" him, well, there you have it, nothing left to see or question. Time to move on.

What a great fluff piece on why Zion is so good. This is the part that bothers me so much. We get killed, some of it is warranted since we are involved, while others don't even get mentioned or if they do, it is a passing line in an article about how great they are. I'm just ready for this cloud to be gone, but I guess we have to wait until after Book's trial and then possibly NCAA stuff.
Better yet if the cats win we can watch Bilas interview Miller. I hope the team plays out of their mind and grants Miller an audience with ESPIN'S worst
Waiting at the Rose Bowl patiently for the cats to arrive

The barrage of reports from ESPN and tweets from Vitale are really alarming — all the information from the trial that was revealed predominantly focused on other programs, yet the aftermath is all Arizona on ESPN. It seems like every couple of days there is another Arizona headline on ESPN based on innuendo and unsubstantiated information to continue to promote the appearance of instability and corruption. One hopes the recruiting class is not impacted by all of this crap. Seriously, what the f**k is wrong with ESPN?

That. . . and trying to hide the fact they are a Duke (NC, Kansas, other non-west coast U) recruiting agency. Pay no attention to the rat behind the curtain!

I think we all know that if Schlabach got a tip that Coach K was on FBI wiretap talking about $100k for Justise Winslow, there’s no way that article in its original form would have ever seen the light of day.

We should have a board of trustees specific to our university that oversees the president
Why is there one board of regents for three universities? I'm used to the president presiding over all the campuses of a single university, and answering to one board. Not even New Mexico has one board of regents for UNM, NM State, etc. Each has its own.
I bet he will later say that this only applies to those in the "Championship Series" or whatever it is call. I bet he can't resist and says something about Arizona before tomorrow night's tipoff at McKale.
By the way anyone else notice that if/when you watch ESPN Sport Center in the Morning, there new back screen Name and Moto reads:
"SC:am"
I don't know about you, but all I read is SCAM when I see that.

It's not uncommon - 25 states have some form of a consolidated governing board for public universities.

Hey did you guys know that Allonzo Trier was also somehow involved in all of this? Regardless of the fact his name has never once come up in any allegations or in testimony whatsoever? Well fuck me, the media as a whole are doing a fantastic job of misrepresenting facts and just blatantly making shit up as they go along. This is getting old. REAL. FUCKING. FAST.

Predictably, the only responses to his tweet of the article are from Arizona fans (including some of our own BDW). Scheer also tweeted at him but none of these national guys ever respond. Maybe Scheer can text him and then post the conversation
(Editor’s note: A previous version of this story mentioned Allonzo Trier as having been named in federal testimony. He was not. The story has been updated to reflect that.)
I worked in newspaper and radio media for 8 years, and taught it at an award-winning level for 6.
What in the actual fuck is this world doing that flat out falseities and lies and slander with nothing but a quipped cutesy turn of phrase to support it is reported not by blogboys like Basnight, but verified, checkmarked, by-lined, reputable services and media?
They are reporting on ethics in the least ethical way possible.

The article still is factually incorrect regardless if they took out the most factually incorrect portion or not.
Rawle, at most, is involved in the email proposing paying him. Saying Gassnola testified he paid regarding Ayton is fair, but it's a big omission that the testimony was that the payment was for KU and not to Ayton or family.
But who cares about subtlety, nuance and accuracy.
